it's the more expensive S7/RS7 Audi now that it has the 4.0 instead of the original monster 4.8. Going by the measurements they are fraternal twins.

Motorized air vents .... because it's just so difficult to adjust air vents manually. I wish they paid more attention to making cars lighter, reliable and efficient than adding gimmicks.

Well it's a Panamera. Nobody who wants to have a light and normal car buys a Panamera :D By the way, these cars are absolutely reliable and more efficient than you think. If you really want to (nobody wants that, I know), you can drive the Panamera with pretty low emissions and consumption.

The Panamera Turbo would be a straight competitor with the M6, RS7 and E63 AMG not the larger sedans.

No, the S63 and the m760 are much bigger cars. Don't compare the size od the normal E and S class, to the Panamera Turbo, the AMG versions are bigger.

This thing is comfortable as hell. I sat in one and got take one for a spin and mmm. It's comfortable both front and back, and it's very interesting the back screen

Pretty much think it looks much harder than it really is. The PDK transmission normally shifts so soft and especially fast that you don't feel the gear change.

@The Real Kurti: I agree. The camera appears to be on his head, not mounted fixed on the car, and *his head* jerks with the sudden acceleration. The PDK transmission is very, very smooth indeed.

I personally really like the way the rear of the old Panamera looked better then this newer version. It was more distinct and looked sportier in my opinion. This looks kind of toned down

I thought the last gen Panamera design was okay, but this one does look better. ESPECIALLY the interior. The design of the Mercedes GT Sedan looks sooo much more stylish though! And over 800hp. It'll be interesting to see how it compares in performance.

Solid review, great car, my Audi A6 is 22 years old and my 911 is going on 18 years old so it might be time to retire the Audi and get a Panamera for a sedan to go with the 911 (which is still a great car)

What is weird about that screen center console thingy is that...let’s say you bought one with heated seats but no ventilated seats. Then there will be a little logo of a ventilated seat that won’t light up. That reminded you that you didn’t get the ventilated seats and makes the console look a little weird.

I am not a fan of the screen controlled fan direction, that is something that should be done with manual controls and tactile feel while you're driving, probably the only major issue I have with the integrated touch screen UI

Parker you said the only real competition to this Panamera Turbo is the Tesla. What about the Audi S8 plus you reviewed a while back? It had 600 hp and sounded great as well as looked mean. Also priced about the same if not cheaper.

Great reviews. Add more external shots ( panoramas ;-) of car exteriors. In the case of the panorama, you spoke at length about the updated body changes but did not show the shots to highlight those changes.

IMO I don't think the panamera really competes with the S-class. Its more of a BMW M5/M6gc and E63 AMG-S competitor. So saying its the most fun car to drive in its class without mentioning those isn't right.

Yea Porsche has really stepped up their game on the Panamera however I think the overall refinement of the s-class is still unmatched. I'd pick this second though. Btw nice sub what happened to your AP Offshore? Gotta do a collection vid one of these days parker!
