Can you talk more about the bricking. Happens on the just autel or all of the programmers? Also i tried to do all keys lost with the 508 on a 19 outback (it's an h key)and would just fail every time after trying to gather the immobilizer data. Any idea why? Thanks

i heard some Nissan like the Rogue and Quasqai are notorious for bricking themself when programming a prox

how do you know if you choose OEM type G or H? how would you determine? I know autopropad has shows it on supported vehicles page but the autel??

Look up the key through whoever you get your keys from. 17 Forester is G only.

Hello, thanks for the video. We have followed the lost key process with the IM508 on a 17 Forester, shows "successful" but still get security light/no crank. Would this suggest a bricked module or any specific indicators to look for when there is a module issue?

A bricked car does exactly what your talking about. Lots of questions though. Was someone there before you, have you tried another key and things like did you read the key to make sure it's correct ? Maybe the car has a aftermarket remote start it's sending the programming through first ?

@@locksny It seemed destined to be headed for Subaru; an attempt to program a new key had been attempted using a MaxiSys MS908S PRO which gives the impression of having that capability but doesn't for this model anyway. Vehicle came to us with several codes (immobilizer/com: U0073, B1572, B1571, C1424) that would return as soon as cleared. IM508 indicated programming success as I mentioned earlier but this is a new tool for us; ended up using the ECM reset (on the IM508) and the car & both keys now function. Thanks for taking the time to respond & for your excellent video!

Hi Bro. I am using aitel Im 508 I need to add key Toyota crown athlete 2004 but it is not in the list. I have used toyota smart key maker to program .the car it has started but the remote does not work, what should I do to succeed

Off the top of my head, I don't think the Subaru Forester had a smart key in 2010 . You may want to check your model ?
