You can give some order to AI teammate such as resupply via commo rose. I think it's helpful while playing solo match against AI. But beware it isn't 100% success.

Squad points from Battlefield V were an amazing thing. I believe weapon pick ups (Power Weapons) were data mined, but were never integrated into the game sadly. Calling vehicles is nice, but calling power weapons in rewards team work and skill. I wish Dice gave us the ability to make suggestions like Techland.

Customizable optics. Let me have pink or purple optic colors. And let me change the size of them 2 like you could in 4 never forgetting my 200% larger kobra sight that made the gap between points like 1/2 an in and the bars themselves where so thick a players head could fit in it.

Tiny thing about throwing back grenades: Team mates can still be damaged and get killed from one. So you could throw them into your team thus killing all of them lol

One more thing to note is that squad leadership will either go to a random squad mate, or to the one who requested orders. So if you get into a squad and the squad leader isn't giving orders, you can just request them a couple of times and the game will eventually promote you automatically.

Wish there was a way to choose to never be squad leader. I dont want to be it, but a couple of times in every match it rolls around to me and then starts the annoying countdown timer.

@@psyanic733you should take advantage of being the squad leader and point out the control points and objectives that you want. In most cases your squad will ignore you (in which case it doesn't matter who is squad leader), but every now and then they will obey and you will be rewarded with extra experience points.

I was so good at bf3 often times i would be top 10. Stopped playing and just getting back into bf2042 and i just cannot stop dying. Ive done all the settings adjustments but i just cant get it together. Funny enough in the bf3 maps i am able to do decent. But nothing like i was doing in bf3.

The tip to use ghost hybrid and 8T was clutch, esp am trying to T1 the new DMR. Love your tips TCW, super useful, even for someone like me who has been playing 1200 hours plus. I daresay this should be a must watch for those new to the series after the free weekend.

Would still love to have a zoom function on the deployment screen. Trying to spawn on the correct squad mate or beacon can be tricky if they're all close and some are in combat.

You can select a spawn point (teamate, flag, etc) them use AWSD to move from one to another 👌

Yeah I use arrow keys to select and spacebar to deploy. Spawn beacon is the same colour as objectives so if a squadmate is next to it you still know which is which. Mostly if you really want to deploy there and squad is in combat.

On PC you can highlight your squad mates name on the left of the screen and click on deploy.

This is such a great video, thank you! One thing I will add about Squad Orders - to accept the order you have to mouseover the flag and also press Q - it will then light up an additional one of the 4 green dots next to the order. (For the longest time I was wondering what those 4 dots represented!) And also as a non-squad leader you can mark objectives in green that you think are worth going for, it will just highlight with one green arrow, not 4. I think it's a clever system! Props DICE!

Great video for newcomers! One thing that's sad with EMP-effects is how they completely removed the old weapon-disable for only part-disable instead of combining/splitting the effects between the gadgets. And how laser-targeting (a core-mechanic in former titles, with the most teamplay and coordination needed) still didn't get any fixes.

Awesome video, and came right in time as i was wondering if they actually added scope glint to all the 4x scopes aswell :) One thing to note though, in regards to the scope glint and smoke: sometimes the scope glint will also be visible through smoke, so thats something to also keep in mind when sniping from somewhere ^^

7:53 i wish they didnt remove the individual door lock panels on all doors. Having door locks before the patch made you use the destructible environment more...i.e. blowing holes in a building.

Also, Mackay as a passive has a faster sprint to shoot mechanic, meaning you can run in traversal and shoot faster than any other characters, CQC master I must say

No medics switch to their primary faster when using an SMG.

McKay has faster movement speed WHILE ADSing. Medics get faster ADS speed (as in pulling the weapon up into ADS) when using SMGs.

For console players that struggle with recoil (no shame in it) try adjusting your Field of View it pretty much completely eliminates the recoil on a lot of guns.

@@iKeptIt2Reall I don't know the specifics on especially cause I haven't played in awhile but make your FOV so you can see more of what's around you (you'll see more of your gun). I did that and it dramatically changed the recoil on a lot of gun

They need to bring back the mechanic pinging the vehicles, letting them know that we can repair them. Like in BF 4.

Pretty sure if you hold your command button that “need repairs” is an option but I’m also probably on crack rn

@slimbomb the driver, gets the need repairs option. BF4 if an engineer pings a vehicle when not at full health. A wrench icon will appear above their heads and shout "fixing vehicle.". In the current game, if I ping a vehicle, all it's gonna say to the driver is I need a pick up. That's why you see engineers running to repair while the vehicle drives way. All of this doesn't matter anyway. They get amnesia whenever they release a new BF game and repeat the same mistakes as before.

I never knew the smoke works the same as Counterstrike to extinguish fire. I always thought the red floor was dangerous

Really well done and helpful video, just one tip: spot the hell out of enemies, this helps your teammates so much and gets you points and ribbons too. And since you're seeing more than the average soldier, you might as well hit that q button while scanning the area. At least that's what I do. Edit: that was supposed to be a comment on another video, but it's valid anyway 😂

anyone knows how i can switch on those scopes from 4.0 zoom to 1.5 zoon while using xbox controller on pc ? same for cutting parachute , i cant even find it in the controller options in the menu ?

Cutting parachute is toggle left stick. Zoom scopes is toggle right stick.

I am not sure if the portal code at least for conquest is working for the weekly missions. I was trying it on the 2 remaining ones i have for this week and it didn't count. Also didn't count towards unlocking any attachments to the gun i was using. Maybe there is a bug or it has to do with the changes DICE did recently? I don't know, but i will be trying it again tonight and see if still not working. Other than this a great video with various tips. Thank you very much. Hope you are having a great time.

hi, does anyone know if there is there any way to throw medic/ammo puches like in bf1/bfV so by simply pressing the button once? in bf2042 you must press it to take the pouch in your hand and then press again to throw it... its a small thing really, but its annoying if you do it 30 times in a single match

@@d3fctI agree... I think Cadwoman did a video on it cuz there was a bug that would throw all instead of just one grenade. i want to say the option is "auto throw" or something similar but CAD definitely addressed it in one of their patches.

Aren’t the stealth ammo and silencer combinations nullified when spotted? I only ask because of all the spotting mechanics available in the game

Yes when you are manually spotted it doesn’t matter what combination you use. This only applies to the spotting when shooting.

Not sure if this should even be a tip, but you can call for vehicle and drop it on top of enemy and kill them. Or your on parachute or flying Sundance squirrel, steal enemy called vehicle in mid air. Still not evil enough? Call Angel support crate on top of teammates to kill them if they camp. Sadly they can't be revived so accidents happen.

noob here lol can you unlock and rank everything up playing solo cop conquest or do you need to play games with other players . player base is very low in my region so i can only get games sometimes or they all just really sweaty for unranked noobs lol .

Yes, you can rank up most guns and vehicles to level 12 in solo. Better to play Breakthrough though as enemies are more concentrated in one spot. Try Redacted or Stranded.

That damn ping is kinda lame. All you hear is “da-da-da” every time someone dies. They should have limited how fast they can be placed at least or give a different sound for spotting enemies because it can be confusing. A spot at a distance should be different than the ping.

There also stuff that is not well known. Controller players get less recoil. SBMM manipulation is real. Using any form of assist is only for noobs. Skilled players are not using it.
