Thanks for your concern ! Would that partition not have taken place! But religion & egos of our ancestors did it.We feel very painful (Before you have to become Muslim),our libraries at Taxila, Nalanda etc were looted n burnt which remained burning for months, our structures in northern India including Pakistan were destroyed by Invaders.In south India there are still old structures which are surprisingly beutiful & awesome.Words fail to explain their architecture.

RIP The narration! It's natgeo India and we expect a better host and narrator to take our legacy to places. Drawing relations to historic artisans to carpenters, really? Nariyal pani on the throne? seriously? It is the lack of literature that puts the legacy down the map. It felt like she was talking off a blog on chandi chowk.

With so much of reserve and dignity immaturity and childish behaviour gets in the way. A gaddi comes with a lot of responsibility. This is the difference between aristocracy and democracy. Today they are planning to drink naryal paani in the durbar hall while in yesteryears they thought of their commitments. Thank God all is not lost and even today the heritage of the country is in the safe hands of people who are polite yet reserved and do not allow others to intrude into their personal space - freedom or no freedom. What a sharp but admirable contrast.

Thanks to Maharaja of Baroda in 1915 who identified young talented BR Ambedkar and sponsors him to study in New York Colombia university. That exposure to USA for several years helped India.
