1700hp CTS-V Breaks WORLD RECORD!

6 жыл бұрынYou may have seen this Cadillac a few weeks ago on our channel. It made about 1500hp and hurt a BUNCH of feelings at Street Car Takeover - Charlotte. Well now it’s BACK and making even MORE horsepower for the Street Car Takeover Atlanta event! 1700hp to be exact - and it’s become the fastest CTS-V in the world, running a 7.62 @ 182 mph! Not too shabby for a 4,200lb TANK!

Went to high school with Jeff. Believe it or not, he never backed down from a fight and I never seen him lose one. IMO he was a world-class guy. RIP my friend. I know your breaking records on a drag strip in heaven now!

Spent so much time with this guy on camera, don't know if it was the good fortune, but I like when racers are patient and give good interviews, so hard to shut off the racer and turn on the "PR face". In no way am I insulting any racer being interviewed and saying that they are unwilling or uncooperative, but never easy for anyone who's focused on a task over an entire day to switch modes. For that matter some want to be in the moment and enjoy their success and it's cool to share that with everyone, good job all around.
