It's understandable that Kai was disappointed. He worked so hard to prepare for this concert, and wanted to please the audience. But no matter what, that "mistake" wasn't noticable, and we love him no matter what. He always does an amazing job!

Whenever I see Kai on stage, I always thought he's so cool then whenever he answered in interviews, his answered left me with an impact and got me wondered how does he thinks so mature with his age? And then seeing him crying because of his mistakes, I admired him even more. For me it wasn't easy to owned up a mistake because that's can make us feel embarrass or uncomfortable but Kai admits that he made a mistake when no one of us know about it. He was brave enough to tell us and to show us how he feels about it. It only shows how much he worked hard in order to show us good performances to the extent that he wanted it to be perfect. And also it means how much he loves his fans by giving his all. So after this incident, I salute and respect him even more and I was happy to stan someone like him. Kai is truly an amazing person and I think I love him even more.

다른 가수의 팬이라는 건 그만큼 내 팬을 소중히 여길수 있는 사람이라고 생각해요..그래서 시우민이 동방신기 이야기를 하면 전 오히려 좋아요. 그리고 카이가 얼마나 노력하는 사람인지 자신의 자리에 얼마나 열정을 가진 사람인지 알게됬어요. 카이가 이른둥이이긴하지만 세훈이랑 동갑인 막내잖아요. 메인댄서라는 자리인데 실수했으니 얼마나 슬프고 자책감.자괴감이 크겠어요. 카이 화이팅!!! 카이가 자리에 안주하지않고 더 노력하는 사람이라는 걸 알게 해줘서 고마워요. 힘내요!!

As a fan of Kai, it's really sad to see him like this. You know it's more than just him knowing he made mistakes but that he felt he could have done better and probably felt he failed himself. It's not about others seeing that he made mistakes. Only he knows if he did make mistakes or not that's why he gets upset when he does. He's probably like this even if it's only him in a practice room and there are no audience. I keep saying this in other comments but he is his best and worst critic. Not even the boys' praises can calm him. 😭The boys know how much this means to him and so they did not call him out for crying. They understand his worries so much 😭 I love them more for that. Look at them consoling him and giving him the warmest words. Same with Shim Jaewon, he has been there since Kai entered SM and started as a trainee.

Boi you are a great dancer one tiny mistake that no one noticed won't change that. It's sad to see that the other members tried to cheer him up but it did not work because it was more serious than a little mistake. From my perspective Kai had a mental breakdown which was caused by his perfectionist personality. (I can relate to him a lot because I am the same.) People like that beat themselves up when they make even the slightest mistake. I have always noticed Kai practices his dances so much before a performance so when he made a mistake it triggered that release in his brain to breakdown. Many idols suffer from mental health issues and I see that Kai had an attack because of this enormous pressure fans have on him and what he puts on himself. I hope he will be okay and seeks proper care. I know that mental health is kind of taboo in Korea but as I mentioned many idols are coming out with mental health issues such as depression and anxiety disorder. It's important that they receive proper mental health care. Sorry for going on this rant but seeing Kai like this broke my heart. Fighting Kai!!! Don't beat yourself up.

with MAMA performance they had to prepare im sure it must have been really hard on them and im sure the feel pressure to be number 1 at everything considering they will start going to the military in 2019...I know Kai takes a lot of pride in his dancing because thats what he is known for and a lot of male idols look up to him and Taemin i honestly didnt see a mistake and if he didnt point that out i would not have noticed it like Donghae he is really emotional XD

He made a mistake during his solo stage which was right before this (he had his solo stage, then it played the vcr, and then they performed three songs back to back which were call be baby, touch it, and chill -- so he didn't have the chance to process it until the ment) where he fell because of the microphone wire :( He stayed up until 4am practicing right before this concert and didn't make it home because of it (which is what the members are talking about here, complimenting him for being hardworking, etc. because they're trying to cheer him up because he's upset) so obviously it's very upsetting for a perfectionist like him. During the beginning of Call Me Baby he startles Xiumin and Sehun because he's upset and slams the briefcase down, then during Touch It and Chill Chanyeol and Baekhyun both try to interact with him and get him to laugh but he's really upset and ignore them :( So of course when he goes to talk about it he breaks down crying, especially because the rest of the boys are complimenting him and trying so hard to make him feel better (Baekhyun interrupts himself to say Kai's so cool and that he wants to dance as well as him, etc.)

Because he couldn't stop crying, so I guess he went backstage to try and calm himself before the following performances! Poor Kai, he was so upset by his mistake! :'( XD
