I have a Garrett seahunter mark 2 metal detector. I know where the hotspots are to go to metal detect in florida, Is Vero Beach? It's okay to metal detect.😊 Sebastian inlet is a another good place. Fort Pierce inlet. Florida, The sand is very soft, Is very sandy place, Take your metal detector in the water About maybe waste deep, The water is not that rough, And metal detect on the water line in the sand, Sea grape beach, Is is another good place to metal detect in the water, Turtle trail beach access Beach florida, All of these are very good places. Some of the sand is very hard to dig up because it is sugar sand, Metal detect on low tide. You can't metal detect in the sand all day All day long.😢 You have to go in the water to metal detect also, About waste deep or so. That's where you'll find the good stuff. Metal detecting people they know where to go. They know what to do, You can't better detect in the sand all day long. You have to go in the water, People are just having to have a little fun. We are not a bunch of grave robbers. This is america home of the free, I think some of the florida rolls are absolutely stupid, About how you Cannot battle detect in the water, That is a bunch of Bullshit, So stay out of other people's business we're just trying to have some fun, I will be going to all these places too metal detect. And I will be going in the water. You can take that to the bank, This is United States of America home of the free. Is treasure coast beach laws? You cannot demand people. We are out there with our friends and family trying to enjoy the beach. You cannot check that away from us, And you can take that to the bank also🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄😤

My grandfather found a little coin on vero beach back in the 50s. I have it now and curious about its origin and value. Would you be interested is seeing a picture? I doubt I would ever sell, so please keep that in mind. Don’t think it could be worth all that much based on size & condition… more curious than anything.

I was the advantage of detecting in the middle of the night VS in the morning.

Been there many times Nice find for one day. Rarely anyone there when I go. On beach water line to dune it's yours. Its dangerous alone. Sand wall 14 ft. Tree hit me when back wall of cyclone hit me. Only one place to get off marked by pipe. There are cameras at all sights as well as helicopters Pull it out of the water or park on Federal Parking lot they will take your find. Fischer's bought all water sites but sold them to Jupiter wreck Adair family. Season licences are cheap. Possession of a metal detector on Fed land (like purposely placed parking lot across from Gold (aka Colored Beach) Wreck site) is 10 years in prison. You do 80% of your time. No people. No trash. 90% of the FL gold 1/3 take came from this site several miles S. of the Ft. Pierce inlet. Only place I could illegally park was a condo close to the inlet. I dug up a dummy land mine close to the inlet. There is a marker of garbage directly in front of the wreck. Don't be suprised if a helicopter is 8ft. above your head seeing if your ft prints go in the water. Know the law at each site. The newest site is off Cape Canaveral & I've seen some of the stuff gathered by the Odyssey Submarine. Forget about getting near that. There are 2 other wrecks. National Parks now. Even locals don't know Seen people in handcuffs coming out of those sites. 😢
