Terror raid on a civilian target and then occupation by the Soviets who had also attacked Poland. Absolutely no moral high ground for the Allies.

Area bombing was not outlawed until 1977, my friend. The shocking fact is that under international law as it stood in 1945, entire cities - and the people who lived in them - were perfectly legal and legitimate targets for assault from the air, because they contained facilities of use to the enemy war effort, and the bombers had to fly through defended airspace in order to reach them. You make the classic mistake of judging historic events by modern standards, I'm afraid, and whereas that statement is certainly true morally, it has no legal basis whatsoever.

@@MSM4U2POM There is something called a natural law and morality you i d i o t and I absolutely don't give a fck about the international law. According to that logic I could say for example that Holodomor wasn't a warcrime because the law didn't prohibit it back then. According to that logic I could say that all civilians sitting in their homes are a military target because the enemy can use houses for defence.
