A customer gave me 10 dollars of this last year, and I still have them. I love my job as a cashier. I even got one of them ladies walking holding some flowers from 1800s

In 1982 a lot of these silver coins were all melted down! The mint sold 4.9 million UNC and 3.9 million proofs! So about 6 million dollars were melted down! Including the half dollars and quarters!
