Twenty-seven new recruits lined up in front of the Michigan State Police Training Academy on Sunday, July 24, and began their journey to become motor carrier (MC) officers as a part of the 17th Motor Carrier Recruit School.
Motor carrier recruits must go through weeks of grueling training to graduate. In fact, throughout the recruit school, each recruit will endure several benchmarks and challenges to earn his or her badge on graduation day, Nov. 23, 2011.
