Today is a lovely Rainy spring day here! And I'm going to make a super delicious Iranian dish called Lentil Pilaf (عدس پلو).It is a very popular food for us.Persian love to cook foods with rice.This food contains of Rice and lentils and so many lovely spices.I'm going to dress it with Beef and lamb minced meat and Raisins and Dates and a great Iranian Saffron.There will be also a crunchy Potato Tahdig!In this nice rainy day,my cozy house in our village has a beautiful and calm vibe.I hope you enjoy this video 🥰

What a beautiful meal you prepared! The combinations of flavors look delicious! I have not seen lentils done with rice before. I love dates too. I found it interesting that you fried the raisins. Everything looked so nice on the platter dish. It is amazing how differently we eat but have the same ingredients. Sweet and savory, and the olives had fry-makes on them too. I loved Asal sleeping on the couch take that nap. In our country we have a saying "take cat nap" and cats love to sleep. LAUGH! On a rainy day what more is there to do but cook, eat and take a nap! --Carol
