This is an 18 day old male Goshawk. I’m imprinting it for at good friend who bred him. We’ve found a way that works really well for us. Hawks we have imprinted for one another have been good birds and silent in the field. I’ll have him for 10 weeks then he’ll head back to the breeder ready to be trained.
This cute bungle of fluff is hard to believe in just a few weeks will be an apex predator of the woodland.
Dogs know the drill and are always super good around all the birds but they love a nuzzle this is the only chance they have to get a good sniff without getting a bleeding nose 😀😀
