Yes, I used the rubber lens cap until I saw in another video that if dust or dirt gets in there, and you slide the camera in, you will scratch your lenses. Better to blow off the lenses, wipe with a micro fiber cloth, wrap it with the same cloth, and then put it in a case.

Love your channel certainly a wealth of information! I used my Insta 360 One X2 for the 1st time. QUESTION: I shot a long video but need to shorten content. Will the ORIGINAL video be saved after trimming to make clips?

Yes it will! You can reset the clip anytime to the original version!

I've occasionally had a strange issues where one of the shots from the same shooting session would refuse to export in 1080p. I think you just explained that for me. Turns out each time that happened, it was a clip with tiny world zoom level in it. Now it makes sense.

Hi Merry Xmas, I have just got a 360 onex2 and wonder if you can help me ? i have made a few movies and then i wish to edit them, i have downloaded the insta studio 2021 but all i get is some very basic tools and in the thumbnail it keeps asking for LRV fie to display video in the thumbnail. When i look at tutorials theres a lot more tools and things than i have on my screen. I am using a desktop iMac pc.the originals are saving as a mp4 I dont understand any of this stuff need expelling as baby talk... lol thanks Big D

Great videos. I have just received my Insta 360 and want to use it with my selfie stick for running, to check my cadence etc. Is there a particular way of holding the stick to show my self. Obviously I will be doing this when there is no one around, but have been told that it is very helpful to look back at videos of my runs.

To get a natural look with the selfie stick, you have to hold the selfie stick by your side so it doesn't look like you're holding a selfie stick in the final video 🙂

@@Best360 Would the lens position make a difference in the editing. eg one lens facing you and the other facing away. I find when I commute on my bike its easier to edit with the lens's this way. 👍

I am casual user. Insta360 should really detect the light brightness or even movement of surroundings automatically and adjust the shutter speed accordingly to avoid blurry video.

Hi, I use an Insta 360 ONE X2 (along with a GoPro HERO9) on my bike. I find it really frustrating that the Insta 360 discards the created date/time information (using both app and Studio software) . It makes editing the clips later in FCPX an organisational nightmare. How do you deal with this issue, any tips? Cheers

mmm I haven't had this issue myself. I do have the date and time info. Connecting the camera to the app should sync up the time and date.

Still impossible export videos record in 5.7 k 25fps directly from the app insta 360 only 1080p 75fps maximum available.. and my phone support 8k.

@@marcelorochadepaula6172 if your clips are super long it takes awhile for it to download, I try to keep my clips no more then a minute and a half, also in the insta app you want to clear all your old clips and clear your cache it helps!!

@@marcelorochadepaula6172 you can take the sd card out of the camera. When you want to edit on the phone, then copy the sd card content to the correct folder on yr phone. This way no need to wait for a long download
