Wow, I haven't played a Rumble yet so I had no idea that tag teams work together. That is an incredibly cool detail.

1. The default female referee seems to be just Tamina with minir edits. 2. Slow referee count is a nice addition; however, I hope they give it a different animation in 2k24 moving forward. 3. I really hope 2k writers give the main characters a more likeable personality. I finished The Lock story, and the MC was written as an arrogant person. Even his kind dialogue choices sound self-centered. However, praise goven to the voice actor. Whenever MC gives a promo to the crowd, it feels authentic. 4. AI Sliders is a wonderful addition! 5. I hope we have more weapon variety and blood effects in the future. I need them to drip over the chest and on the ring.

I didn't play new WWE games since 2k16 and I must say I really love 2k23 There are a few things they need to add such as weapon grapples, more blood, some more backstage areas, perhaps in the future they add back create-a-story etc I love the addition of weapon taunts

I honestly wish they would add something like the mdickie games has, where you start at wrestling school and have to fight your way up to earn contracts and improve your skills and more random events that can happen during your playthrough so it's not just a story that is the same, that adds alot of replayability i feel like. I know those games are extremely simplified but they are super fun.

One thing you didn't mention is the commentary in '23 (& '22) feels alot more alive than '19. I remember 17-19 turning the commentary off after a while just due to the fact that it felt very dull in those games.

2K22/23 feels like WWF Attitude whenever one would need to take a look at the Combos list, though not really necessary, it's quick, easy pick-up and play! I really enjoyed it. 2K19 I go back to whenever I play 2K22/23, it's just overall a better game with a better roster that I enjoy. 2K wise, 2K14 is The GOAT when it comes to everything.

2K19 superstar customization is also 1000% better as you can customize every aspect of your created superstars, including the body parts, with multiple options. Newer ones don't allow you to do that, so it gets boring making a new superstar every time you have to choose from predefined templates.

I am torn between these two games I go back and forth and I like different things about it The one thing about the character models on 2K 23 is when they raise their arms with a championship title looks like they dislocate their shoulder to get their arm up once you see it it cannot be unseen

I really enjoyed wwe 2k22 and this game is so much better in a number of ways, the ai is finally semi intelligent, you can finally taunt with weapons, war games is super fun though i wish we could have 10 man matches, and the graphical improvements are nice too, stuff like the tables not disappearing is a nice detail although i wish ladders didn't disappear

2k19 is still the goat because of its brilliant roster and unique features

I have wwe 2k23 on ps5 and i have all the rest of wwe 2k games and wwe 2k19 gameplay wise is the closes thing to the product we watch on tv do to how good the A.I does with taking damage and other aspects to the gameplay. Wwe 2k23 may have better graphics but it still falls short compared WWE 2k19 gameplay im just being honest.

The way they walk when near an opponent looks very stupid in 2k23. The combos looks silly. I prefer the realistic approach in 2k19. They walk normally and can grapple straight away. The counters also has more variety and look natural. 2k23 is so aracadey I uninstalled it after a few days. So glad I kept my 2k18 and 19. And also, why the hell do I have to do a front facelock just to irish whip an opponent??

in WWE 2k23 in my career mode, when the servers are disconnected is it possible to continue playing this mode or does this mode only work if the game is connected to the 2K servers? i ask this because in an NBA game i have, when 2K shut down the servers, it became impossible to play my career in that NBA game. I have WWE 2K19 but I'm interested in buying a more recent WWE, but first I want to make sure I don't spend money and then not be able to access the my career mode.

God I still pray that one day the 2K19 servers would reopen so I could feel like a *GOD* again. Although I already feel bad enough that I didn’t play it online until the final 5 months, but I am glad to say though that playing it offline for so long helped me so much to train for those online matches and becoming one of the hottest 2K19 performers ever to never win a League Championship (post Styles Tower thing where you coulda won a million dollars). But honestly I still play 2K19 though for the created AEW wrestlers that never made it to the initial Fight Forever roster. But like I still yearn for the days of kicking absolute ass but at the same time having so much fun (especially with the Steel Cage matches that me and my then-friend did). Also to be honest this is practically the reason why I haven’t touched a 2K game since. I don’t care about 2K20, 2K22 or 2K23 and so on. You’ll never convince me that those games take as much skill and are as much fun as 2K19 was (and I was playing WWE games since SVR 2006). As of now though until the 2K19 servers are ever reopened (a man can dream), I am sticking with Fight Forever through and through. Thank you. Oh and 2K really fudged up trying to reinvent the wheel after 2K19. Super retarded AI and just nostalgia-baiting everyone into buying recent titles just like Madden.

I can play a match in 2k19, wrestlers walk around normally, not with their arms up in a fighting position even when their opponents are flat on the mat, there are no weird meter bars popping up above my wrestler's head in 2k19, I don't have to punch and kick all the time in 19, I can do moves without having to perform a collar and elbow lock-up beforehand. Basically 2K19 looks like an authentic wrestling match. I don't know what 2K23 is supposed to be, but it doesn't have any resemblance to pro wrestling.

I still play 2k19, the roster is far superior. I do not see any reason to upgrade, especially since they never add anything special in the new ones and the roster is less impressive with each passing 2k.

hmm i have serious issues with anything after 2k19... it was nearly perfect... it just needed better controls in royal rumble, and to update rosters and be best ever... the newer games the characters are too big and the controls suck..and it has too much of a arcade feel with the high impact sound and screen vibration every move...it just doesnt have a realistic feel like 2k19

Things I HATE about 22/23 and why I still play 2k19: •The gorilla/ape walk - when close to an opponent, my player walks around dragging their knuckles and almost hoping. Awkward. •The block feature…. Doesn’t make any sense unless you’re Omos / Nia Jax - which 2k19 had “immovable object” ability for heavyweights. •Having to put opponent in a hold before doing a grapple. Ruins the fluidity of the match. •Towards and away attacks - so annoying. End up doing the same move over and over again. •No hot tag / tag team come back. •Running the ropes always glitches. •Irish whip grapple moves barely ever connect and end up shoulder blocking each other instead. •Sensitive aerial range stops you from doing assigned moveset and instead hits double axe handle. •No chain wrestling system. •OMG moves disbanded and just placed into regular gameplay. •Combo attacks - WTF is this feature - this isn’t how wrestling works - street fighter or tekken, but not wrestling. •No limb target feature. •Less strong attacks - 5 in 2k19, 3 in 2k22/23. The list honestly goes on. The game play is so terrible, which is such a shame because the graphics are really good!
