On Sunday, November 1, 2020, something tragic happened to me and my family. As we were driving from Apple Hill on Highway US-50, we were struck head on by a car.
As it turns out, a vehicle was attempting to merge on the freeway but was not fast enough and struck the car that later struck our car. This car hit our left front bumper side. We actually drove over the car and slid over a quarter mile down the road with no front left wheel or suspension and the brakes didn't work at all.
Everything happened so fast and out of nowhere. There was no time to react or turn the wheel. It's very scary.
It's a miracle that we made it out alive because the collision could've been deadly. Thankfully no one died as a result of the accident. But we have been visiting the hospital multiple times with my family over the past week for minor injuries, bruises, and general pain.
By God's grace and mercy we made it out alive! Praise God!!
В Bоскресенье, 1 Hоября 2020 года, со мной и моей семьей случилось нечто трагическое. Когда мы ехали от Apple Hill по US-50, нас сбила машина.
Как выяснилось, машина пыталась выехать на автостраду, но не была достаточно быстрой и врезалась в машину, которая позже врезалась в нашу машину. Эта машина ударилась о левый передний бампер. Мы фактически проехали по машине и проскользнули по дороге через четверть мили без переднего левого колеса и без подвески, а тормоза вообще не сработали.
Все произошло так быстро и из ниоткуда. Не было времени реагировать или крутить руль. Это очень страшно.
Это чудо, что мы остались живы, потому что столкновение могло быть смертельным. К счастью, в результате аварии никто не погиб. Но за последнюю неделю мы несколько раз ходили в больницу со своей семьей по поводу незначительных травм, синяков и общей боли.
По милости Божьей мы остались живы! Слава Богу!
