Her biological father was in prison when she was born because he was an adult and Alexis mother was a minor. He's a gold teethed druggy looking guy in interviews. The family that raised Alexis is a far better family than Alexis biological family. Not that that made the kidnapping right, of course.

Brittany Daniel first of all I would like to say you are a beautiful black woman are you married? First of all imagine this you gave birth to a baby girl somebody comes around when you're asleep hours later and still your baby. You don't know what happened the hospital tells you that someone stole your baby this is the most traumatize experience that you would have in your life I know some people would commit suicide. This woman stole your most precious thing in your life and deprive you of the chance of raising it for 18 years. Could even be longer if she did confessed to the crime. This woman have committed a hideous act that cannot be for forgot or forgiven my first analysis of death penalty is over reaching but life imprisonment would be better suited for this person. Because death penalty would be too easy for her to get out from the wrong that she did she need life imprisonment so she can think about it for the rest of her life that to me is a better torture for this woman.

Sorry (not sorry) can’t let this go. She stole that baby. She ‘raised’ her, sure, and ‘gave’ things to her. But what about all that she ‘took’ from her. A completely different upbringing with different possibilities and missed opportunities. A whole lot of stolen what ifs, and maybes. So many lost chance encounters, crossed paths never to be realized with different turns of events. If the good Lord had meant this path for her, that evil being would have given birth to her. But He didn’t and therefore she didn’t. Hope this makes sense...

If I found out that my mother isn't my biological mother and stole me, I'm not going to stop thinking of her as my mother and consider the stranger my mother. Doesn't matter how many years I get to know my biological mother. Those early/formative years where I would have considered her my mother if I grew up with her are gone.
@RE-ve2qz4 жыл бұрын
@@TheVeriaStarr I agree with you. What people do not get is that Kamiyah is showing real love towards someone who loved her in spite of Gloria's sin. The reason why her bio mom, and her cannot get along is because her bio mother wants her to deny the truth, and Kamyiah refuse to deny her love for Gloria as her mother. Her biological father didn't care about any of that to the extent that he was going to allow what was done affect his relationship with his daughter and he respects her and feels her pain and not just his own. He showed that on" Iylana fix my life". Kamiyah bio mother did not prepare her heart for the reunion of her daughter who did not know her, and this is why she is having such a hard time accepting that her daughter is a stranger to he,r and she is a stranger to her daughter. It is unfair but that's their reality. I pray the mother can get past her pain and do not let what she prayed for all these years to be in vain. For her to let go of the years she lost live for today, and take a friendship with her daughter until her daughter is ready to accept her as her mother. I have seen great experiences as well as horrible ones from both sides of the track!! Been living in an affluent suburban area for two decades now and let me tell you”these kids are a hot mess”!! This is just one entire ball of confusion for the child and her biological parents ( they are the real victims as a whole)!! Prayers to them!!

UnscrupulousAgitator I guess it's OK to kidnap a baby at the hospital as long as you can afford to take care of it. If you got a good paying job and money in the bank then why not every person that has this can just go walk into a hospital and say I feel like getting my myself a baby. I don't know what planet are you from but if you think this is OK you're crazy just like the kidnapper is.

@aprilallen47596 жыл бұрын
Jenni G I don't agree. Iyanla caused that outburst. She was messing with feelings and isolating Kamiyah. She pushed her over the edge. Not justifing her actions, because she was very disrespectful. However Iyanla brought that on herself. People need to let Kamiyah process everything while she heals! That's going to take years.

she wasn't disrespectful. i really dont see how anyone who saw that episode can even think that. the girl has a right to be angry and how she expressed it wasn't soooooooo wrong or disrespectful. she was rightfully angry and wasnt rude for no reason at all. she's young and honestly , I respect iyanla , but she shouldn't have been the one to talk to that girl. yeah she's been through a lot, but there is no way she could understand thay. the girl she talked to at the end of the episode who also suffered this should have been there. simple.

The kidnapper is a terrible person. I feel bad for the biological parents and the daughter. She doesn't know any better than who she was raised by but I feel so bad for the biological parents who have to see their daughter defend a kidnapper. I dont feel bad for the woman who I hope gets a lengthy prison sentence. She knows what she did and gets everything she deserves. The daughter loves a liar who raised a child who wasn't hers and she thinks of her as her mother. I understand why she feels like that but the woman isn't a nice person and she took a baby and has basically lied to that girl for 18 years probably ruining her chance of having the relationship with her real parents that she could of had.

So now you have him involved his family hell not to mention her own family. Now you have Kamiyah family kamiyah dad family. I mean she was just selfish as fuck she thought about no one. I remember seeing the flyers all over the hospital and crying over what that mom must be going through. We got the new security alarm bracelets for our baby and our spouse and were briefed on letting the nurse take your baby to the nursery or not. To hear this young lady talk about how her life ended up being better with the woman who stole her ?! That makes me so mad . To hear her defend her makes me so mad . You were stolen little girl ! Your parents grieved the loss of you ! Man, I realize this is complicated for her but Jesus , it must kill her parents all over again to hear her talk like this

Yes I watch the episode and she really was. Those feelings were already inside of her and she kept telling Miss Vanzant that she doesn't feel anything or don't have any feelings toward the situation and what has happened when in actuality she really does.. she has been burying what she really feels.. she has to be confused angry upset frustrated because she's in a place where someone who she deeply loves and thought was her mom did a very bad act. that's a very hard place to be in so you can't say you don't feel anything when she kept telling Miss Vanzant I don't think about it I don't talk about it she's suppressing the truth of how she has to deal with it so that she can move forward....for her to flip out like that and curse and be that disrespectful that did not "just happen" that is not her first time speaking that way in such a angry and disrespectful way as she told her father she has knocked down bigger people then miss VanZant...people need to pay attention to words as well as actions this girl is angry because of what has happened what she has learned and it's okay if she wants to still care and love the mother that abducted her that's completely understandable that's all she knows but she also has to show some love and compassion for the biological mother who didn't even get to know her daughter.just hours after she was born she was gone..her biological mother and father have to accept what she feels and what she saying regarding the mom who abducted her until something happens to where she will realize it was an evil act and she changes her position but she has to be the one to decide to change it no one else can't force her to.. and if she decides to never change her view unfortunately her parents biological will have to be okay with that and learn to be able to live with it if they want a relationship with their daughter... if she was mistreated after she was abducted, I think it would have been a different outcome but because she was raised well because she was taken care of because she was loved that is the challenging part of her seeing the whole picture of it being a very bad and selfish thing that woman did...

I met this precious girl and Walterboro, South Carolina just days after Thanksgiving, 2019. She was working in a retail store and sold me a product. I was simply Enchanted by her sweetness and how polite and respectful she was to me as her customer. I told her that she was such a pretty and sweet girl and that she was asset to anyone that she worked for. I mean she was angel. Since I was the only customer there during our interaction and exchange, we had a brief chance to chat and one thing led to another, then she shared with me her identity. I was so shopped. I hugged her and she hugged me and I told her that I had paid for her and both of her mother's. And that I wish her well on her journey 2 what I believe will be a certain destination of peace with our past. Although, I am searching it will take a bit of time . I do believe her experience well me and aspiration to others who have suffered similar challenges. May God bless her and keep her as sweet and pure as I believe that she is. I cannot wait to see the movie on Lifetime on the 18th of this month. Oh, I do believe that the Walterboro mother, always knew the day would come that she would have to come clean with her girl. Otherwise, there were eighteen years to figure out how to get illegal documents. That's just my guess. Oh my gosh! I just read over this post. So many errors. Such is voice messaging. I do apologize.
