Kobe, you can rest assured that your father knows that you love and miss him. Lord it was so sad to know that Kobe's heart ached for the love of his Father, and Gigi the love of her Grandfather. Lord, how could they not love him and his family and forgive him, Lord why? This will tear your heart out because of how things were left between him and his mother. Jesus, this can't continue to be, Lord fixes it for Kobe, Gigi, and the rest of Kobe's family while there is still time, for them to say to Kobe's family I LOVE YOU, PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR NOT FORGIVING AND LOVING YOUR FATHER AND SISTER! Kobe, please know that we love you, Gigi, and your family. RIP Kobe and Gigi. You will always be loved!

Kobe's accent changed over the years. He was cute back then. I really miss miss Kobe. I first watched him in 97 and since then, I have been his fan for 23 years. It's like watching a family member growing and maturing, and transcending himself from a boy to a man, now to a god. The journey is amazing. just wish he is still with us. Want to see him grow old. But... Damn, it's been half a year and it still hurts.

There are many more where he spoke affectionately about his family especially his parents, they were a very very close knit family. Something horrible must have gone wrong for him not to mention his parents during his jersey retirement and they not been present, that hurt me personally then wandering what could be wrong not knowing the worse is yet to come. Rap had Tupac and the NBA had Kobe. I know 2 different occupations, lifestyle, fans, personalities and amongst so many many other difference. But watching these interviews by both Kobe and 2Pac is absolutely wonderful. When it comes to their professions, passions, maturity, smartness, outlook on life etc, etc, etc, exactly the same. It's a shame how we (we as their fans) were robbed from both their greatness and teachings all around the globe. I'm grateful that we have all these videos and we can continue to learn from the two legends and the two legends. This is just my personal opinion but if you disagree and would like to comment please keep it respectful.

Kobe, aged beyond his years, very intelligent. Talking to Bryson Allen, the man he can hold his own in a conversation. He knows what he wants to do with his life, he has everything in order, I love to hear him talk, you can tell how much he loves his family, especially his mother. There is nothing like the love that a son has for his mother. Kobe's first love was the love of God and his 2nd love was the love that he has for his parents, especially his mother, and the 3rd love was for Vanessa and his children. I hope I have that right because I was always told that you love God 1st and everyone else or everything follows after him. But, you must love God 1st, because He 1st loved us. So, Kobe knew who his true was at a very young age. He remains, faithful to that love even till his death, which was the love of God, Mother, and his family, He never wavers in that love because he held that love in his heart, which remains true, pure no matter what followed. Whatever wrong that he may have done doing his lifetime, God forgave him, so why can't you Mrs. Pam? God has made it plain and clear to 'US' in the Ten Commandments and in the Lord's Pray, THAT WE ARE TO FOR THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US. He also said that If WE CAN NOT FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US THEN HE WILL NOT FOR US OF OUR TRESPASSES, so Mrs. Pam, I hope that you read these comments especially the comment of what Kobe has said and that what he feels in his heart even to this day and the same hold true as to what God has instructed us to do. So, please Mrs. Pam, I urge you to forgive and love Kobe's family as you love him. We have not heard you or your husband say anything about your relationship with Kobe and his family, it saddens me to know that you are harvesting such unforgiveness toward him and Vanessa which will be passed down to his beautiful princesses, that shouldn't be, that can't be, Mrs. Pam please while you still have life in your body, please forgive and come together for Kobe and Gigi sakes. Whatever wrong that was done is not worth the risk of you or your husband going to HELL for. It's better to forgive and forgive now. We don't know the Day or The Hour That The Son of Man Cometh! So, please forgive and reunite your family, for the Love Of God, Do It Today! Don't let anyone or anything stand in your way. Thank You, and God Bless You for being His Child, as He Blessed Kobe and He Never Left Kobe's Side Not For A Minute. Him Or Gigi's even in Death, God Loves Them, and He Will Provide and Look After Kobe's Family. You see you gave birth to a King and that King to God is Kobe, 'FOR WHO SO EVER LOVETH HIM, LOVE GOD AND WHO SO EVER FORGIVETH HIM SHALL BE FORGIVEN'. GOD LOVES ALL OF US INCLUDING YOU BUT WE ARE TO FOLLOW HIS COMMANDMENTS, NOT OUR BUT HIS.

He was honest about skipping college affecting his game by saying "I don't know." I honestly feel if Kobe went to NC for 2-3 years under Dean Smith, he would have been that much better (fundamentals, poise, working with coaches, basketball IQ, understanding of the team game, etc.).

Not necessarily trying to start comparisons, but at around 4:22, I looked off screen, and I pictured MJ saying those words. Like even Kobe's voice sounded like Jordan's at times....
