One week before she was set to graduate high school, as the rest of her friends got ready for the prom, instead of getting dressed up in her prom gown, Brittney was dressed in a hospital gown. She had been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer at 18 years old. The cancer had spread throughout her bones and liver. While metastatic breast cancer is treatable, it’s not curable. She will have to live with cancer for the rest of her life.
Brittney is still alive 8 years after her initial diagnosis. She’s looking towards the future, as there are more treatments coming out all the time - this gives her hope. Brittney is determined to live and thrive, and is using her voice to spread love, healing and gratitude.
This is Brittney’s legacy.

I too am 8 years out of Metastatic Breast Cancer. Its a hard pill to swallow at any age. I admire her courage and strength at her age.

Hi Brittney, I am Brittany as well 😊 I too was told I was young to get breast cancer (at 29). I was told at first it was fibroadinoma (idk how to spell it). Anyway, a month later I found out I was stage 4 breast cancer. It was wild. Mine too was in bones and liver. I can relate to so much from this video. Really hit home for me.

@@cathriencath1881 Hi, I will be strong. Thank you. As for your question, some people can’t feel it at all when it’s in their bones and liver. It was all over my liver though so I felt like I had a constant side ache. As for my bone, it was only in a small area in my neck so it just felt like I had to crack my neck, but I already had an injury there before so I didn’t correlate it to breast cancer at first. It didn’t even cross my mind.

@@Anew_Reviews thanks for Reply. I am worry because i feels like you too. Before i have 2 lump on my breast. But then 3-4 days dissapears. But My armpit always pain and yes, i think like my neck sprain. Really worry but i will check in 1 month later. Your condition is Good now Dear?

I’m so sorry that you had to go through this 😞 our 7 yr old was diagnosed with cancer osteosarcoma and we were told that he was very young that it’s usually 14-24 yrs old 😭💔NO CHILD SHOULD SUFFER THROUGH CANCER 💔😭

So sorry hear a young woman experiencing this cancer diagnosis. Something is going on where many young people are getting cancer... It's either environmental poisoning or food pesticides. The media is silent.

I am 2 years out from metastatic breast cancer, 8 years since early stage diagnosis. I learned to ask for help with the pain from the cancer and pain caused by the treatments, which is keeping me on the treatment and having better quality of life. I quit trying to tough it out. Always ask for yourself, you are amazing young woman. God loves you!❤👍

It’s staggering, the number of women that are being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer these days under the age of 30. Most diagnosed within months of being pregnant with their first child.

@paulan7218 By the time cancer manifests itself, it's been growing 3-5 years! They need a test for earlier detection. I had breast cancer and treated it holistically. I'm into year five cancer free.

I’m glad you’ve found the best drs who took interest in the best outcome, unlike the one who brushed you off by saying 18 years old don’t get cancer. Who’s should look for anther profession. I was diagnosed with BC 1.5 months ago at 23. I’m not stage 4, caught it at stage 2B but I’m currently going through the “life is over/dead” mentality and that shit sucks. Her attitude is absolutely wonderful and she is amazing. Go girlll!

One day My breast began swell and was tender to touch. I identified a lump under my nipple and called doc. The doctor then found 3 more lumps that I didn’t know were there. I have my mammogram and ultrasound this week pray for me

thats the problem with doctors these days they all go by statistics....each person is different and each person should be treated.....diabetes everyone gets metformin and insulin...when in reality they each should be put on a strict diet 1st....and if they dont follow that diet then prescribe them meds...but like they say...they wont make anymoney...god bless you..
