I can't even choose over 10 colors to use for a drawing so I know this will be good! 😂✏️🎨

To be fair that's not a bad thing. Typically for an artwork you wanna have only a few set colors for a palette. When looking into color theory the examples out there usually have an average of 3 colors. Typically I'll only use 5 or so colors pushing the hues and values of two or 3 main colors I find complement each other well

It’s best to store gel pens on their sides, that way the ink doesn’t clog up the pen :D Ballpoint pens and some water based markers are the kinds of pens you store tip downwards, everything else should be stored sideways

Maybe you could do the first idea some time where you mix all your favorite art materials together. Like EVERYTHING from watercolor, to crayon, to felt sewing, to paper crafts, and even digital parts, ect.

Sometimes its the paper. Cleaning the tip can help too. the ink gets clogged. I would love these to use on black paper. I miss gel pens. I loved them and even turned in an essay on black paper written in gel ink once in school. The teacher didn't mind it either but i got counted off because it wasn't college ruled paper I actually think it looks more like a watercolor painting than pen unless up close you don't see the hatching and scribbling that pens do.

Was it the easy way? Yes. Were there better more creative alternatives? Probably Is it the cutest thingy that's all colourful and full of texture that just screams *Kasey Golden was having fun*? Definitely, and that's exactly why we love it

This was awesome! I have a huge set I'm stuck with (but actually am really happy to have now), and this video inspired me to ONLY use the metallics in the set for a coloring page until I get bored and move on to the next thing since I literally can hardly ever finish one project lol. This came out so awesome and kudos to you for using that many colors!! Much love 💞💞

I have used gel pens and they be like that clogging up and not working so i would shake them and just scribble in till it would work again.

Trick for ball point pen and gel ball point pen, get à shoe , flip it and use the bottom (the part that touch the ground) to revive the pen. Work like à charm ! Weird but it work for me since primary school (teacher show us this trick)

i have these same gel pens, and i’ve always struggled to get a good flow of ink from them😩

Me too ;^; sometimes I take them apart and use a lit candle to warm up the ink a little and it helps, just gotta be careful not to melt the plastic

I come to accept that I need to invest in slightly more expensive gel pens because the large cheap packs always give me issues with their ink flow. Sometimes I'll use a lit candle to warm up the ink inside them because I don't want to give up on the ones I own but it's so annoying when some pens from the same pack work fine.

What I do when it seems like the pen has dried up is I take it apart and blow into the ink container. It usually works for me.🙂
