he got greedy while losing his common sense! if someone is telling him this will make him money this way, he doesn't want to share the profit. when you make huge profit, you should think generously as well.

180 Cup was ungrateful even in the Tank. Daymond brings you someone who has sold millions of records and performs all year and you throw it away? Bye.
@hahaezpz3637 жыл бұрын
the 180 cup is more of a party cup; it's just an ordinary cup when its standing up regularly, but if you flipped it upside down there was also an indent that was large enough for a shot of liquor. Personally I didn't really think the idea would take hold especially because of the fact that a lot of people already have a shot glass or two in their homes

Ribery088 unless you get a patent😋 Believe it or not, you can get a patent for the simplest of ideas these days. Like on shark tank a guy got a patent for a running a wire through clothing for headphones. Yes, that guy owns that idea, and if you want to make clothing with that factor, you legally have to license it from him.

This boiled down to stupidity and greed. He was going to give up just 8% of total sales for whatever Jon promoted so it was a win win for them all. I don't understand how people go from nothing at all and then get a break only to screw it up over a small % of money.
@MrVinceChannel6 жыл бұрын
Is it really 8% of what Jon promoted? That number is very small and even small time KZfaqrs will not accept that percentage... They would want a monthly fee up front and % to sweeten the deal. So highly doubt it was just giving up 8%, there must be something else haven't discussed.
@fashionentertainmentandspo34863 жыл бұрын
92% of “killing’ it” millions or... 100% of nothing. Hmmm....decisions, decisions.
@Mikael2492 Жыл бұрын
Was that really 8%? can't find it on Google and youtube. But even if John asked for 15%, i'd still gave it because this guy still have 60% in total.
@_GandalfTheGrey_ Жыл бұрын
8% of total sales plus 10% for sales tax plus state and federal tax plus whatever equity his investors are owed plus all his overhead costs THEN he gets paid. Not every decision that seems good on the surface is good underneath.

You can tell this guy comes from money... he looks exactly like the stereotypical rich frat boy... so he couldn't really care less if his company fails when he has daddy's money to back him up... to his credit, he's a really good looking chap.. maybe he should go into modeling for big Italian brands like Gucci and Versace instead of wasting his time and investors' time on businesses he couldn't care less about
@tj.espygil4544 Жыл бұрын
I think you've called this exactly right.This guy is ridiculously handsome and has one of the best heads of hair I've seen. But I think he's stubborn arrogant and dumb. Maybe he's on Shark Tank for exposure if not for his product. maybe himself. A lot of wannabe actors and models, etc. want to show their faces on TV to get a close-up and get catch their big break. In the words of Judge Judy: Beauty fades. Dumb is forever.

Smart move. These investors and lil jon dont care about his business at all. They just want to make as much money from him and leave regardless of what itll do to his business.
@Noadvantage2462 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's usually how sharks run these businesses. They try to milk them as hard as they can then once it's dried up move to the next deal. Also I don't think lil Jon has the influence anymore to promote this, most of his listeners are older and you really want this product in the college age group. Someone like the Nelk boys would be a way better match for promoting this.
@nwing07__ Жыл бұрын
This is such a stupid take, no offense. "Solomon and Daymond decided to split up due to multiple disagreements regarding the operation and expansion of the 180 Cup. However, you can still purchase 180 Cup from Amazon, Walmart, and other physical and online stores. The sales of 180 Cup have *fallen through* as there are multiple competitors available in the market, and Solomon couldn’t market the product properly." This guy's business didn't become a long term success because of his stubornness. The Sharks want you to succeed and make you more money so they can essentially suck more money out of you, but in essence YOU'RE GENERATING A HIGHER REVENUE which will lead to profit so you'll be rich regardless. The idiot in this video didn't realize the marketing potential w Lil Jon so he failed.
