That is the beauty of Dirty Pours. Even the artist doesn't know how the painting will turn out. You could have an idea or blueprint in your head, but one turn, how you layer the paint, silicone or none, hair dryer or let it dry naturally. All your feeling that day can change your painting. No two paintings will be the same. Amazing! My tip to all acrylic painters is when you see those shapes or cells you like, put it down and don't mess with it. Best results. I have messed up great pours by trying to do the perfect pour. Peace!

Brinky Brinkz your last sentence applies to me - on a few occasions lol I tell people that I broke my own rule of leave it alone.... And it IS amazing how you can change something by the most minuscule movement one way or the other; and I also agree with you that it’s awesome how no two will ever be the same ✌🏻

I ALWAYS break the rule of “LEAVE IT ALONE” lol But lately (I just poured my 16th and 17th) yesterday) I have been tilting more slowly and dropping the canvas before I mess it up . Best advice ever- if you’re thinking wow that’s cool- then leave it be..... Happy painting y’all

I saw one of year the first video you made. It was very different than the other I had seen, (also I just started to look at videos.) You poured the primary colors into a square or triangular container and made 3 puddles in that. Then you made the open pour snake wise on the canvas. Knowing that making a pour with the 3 primary colors is difficult to keep their brilliancy ,thus I expected your pour to be over mixed, thus loosing the chroma of the colors. None of that your painting was amazing. It kept the colors as brilliant as they were at the start. Then for more than a year I did not see any of your video. I am now so glad that I fund you again. Love your work.

Almost certain its a heat gun with a head attachment, some artists use them to expand the cells in their paint from the silicone/whatever they add. A cooking torch would also do the same thing.

@@rockngrannyroadwarrior8807 you have to keep the torch low and at least 6 inches away. I've never heard of silicone igniting if you follow those rules.

What is the white liquid being poured around the colors? Does it help contain the pour when it's slanted, or help it flow? Or just white acrylic paint to fill in the white gaps? This was lovely. Thanks in advance if you answer ✌️
