I hope y’all read this! I was raised in church. I’m a strong believer but I’ve fell backwards with going to church like i should. Sunday is my only day off and i find every excuse to say i just wanna rest I’ll go next week. But when i just watched this man have a 180 inch deer on the ground and he left that deer there to make sure he spent time with the creator. You just hit me right in the heart with this. I just realized my priorities aren’t where they should be. I wouldn’t of left that deer like he just did. So i know I’m not where i should be. But you can bet your bottom dollar i will tell a diff story come next week. Awesome awesome video my brother. The most powerful part wasn’t the kill. It was him leaving to go to church. None of this is possible without the man above. And he just spoke to me through you guys! Thank you for that.

Watching this video and seeing Kindle be so ready to go to church solves what I have been debating. Being 16 I would rather hunt then go to church. I have realized now that if I really start putting God first in my life again I will have a great season. Season starts tomorrow and can't wait. Thank you guys so much for sticking with it!!!!

You guys never disapoint! Bar is set high for everyone else this season. I'm having the same spider issues in Alabama, I'm guessing it is all the rain. We got a few more weeks before our season starts but I'm motivated after that video!

That lack of penetration is with a hit in that location is why when I managed a commercial bowhunting lodge we didn’t allow mechanical broadheads. Fixed blade broaheads don’t have as much of a chance to deflect upon impact.

One problem you had with penetration was using a mechanical. The other was probably arrow weight. When you see a mechanical stopped buy a rib like that it's telling.

Yes banana spiders have been super crazy. I ran into maybe 2 in 2019-2021. This month getting ready for the season I’ve ran into at least 6.

This is my first season bow hunting and I owe it to y’all wouldn’t have done it without watching y’all and I have been hunting less than a week and I just shot a 250 pound hog today and hoping to get some deer soon

Awesome deer man. I'm a huge rage fan. But ill be honest even with a 72# 30 1/2 draw mathews I had so many deer that I lacked good penetration on. Even at 20 yards. Started shooting heavier arrows with high foc and a fix blade and haven't had that issue yet. Makes no sense why you couldn't get a pass through with that shot other then the rage just open so big it slows the arrow down to fast.

Since you asked, spiders have been crazy in Virginia this season. Every time I go out I get a face full of webs. All types of spiders. Around my house we have had a big uptick as well.

I've always enjoyed watching you guys. Being a hunter from Hampton GA, just south of atlanta. And have above all liked how y'all have never hid your faith. But when he ran from a world class buck he lost over sleep over and just found to make sure his family got to church on time. That shows true faith and where we should all be in our beliefs no matter what they are.

Loved it! Putting our Savior first is awesome. Been archery hunting all my life (now 64). Got the buck of my life this year ("the beast") while hunting with my son. I was so thankful I sat down and cried. The fact my son was with me made me beyond happy. God is good. PS; while watching I thought the shot was darn near perfect. That is so awesome. Coyotes got to him but that's what we go through as being a hunter and we take the good with the bad. The thing is yall did right backing out and stayed with it and got the reward of a great buck. Congrats guys

Those are Joro spiders- a recently established exotic species from the Far East. They spread like crazy and are a pain to avoid.

Here in myrtle beach SC the banana spiders this year are terrible as well and they're way bigger on average than prior years in the woods. Also have seen a ton of turkeys this year so far and have had 3 chances of killing one with a bow if they were in season.
