If there's anyone who has experience playing big licks to end songs or turn heads in a stadium, it's Rich Redmond. Rich is going to teach us 17 ideas he uses regularly to get the best bang for the buck. These licks can serve as fills as well and are great exercises to strengthen your understanding of note and fill placement, subdivision and independence or co-ordination. Many of these licks sound down right mean and do an excellent job of putting an exclamation mark over your playing. Make sure to DOWNLOAD the PDF so you can see all 17 licks written out. Get after it!

Instructor:
► Jason Aldean, Bryan Adams, Trace Adkins, Jewel, Miranda Lambert, Kid Rock, The Stellas, Chuck Wicks , and Hank Williams III are only some of the artists Rich has directly supported live and/or in the studio. You’re likely never to meet someone with as much energy and passion as Rich. Every lesson of his on 180 will entertain, motivate and inspire you to reach another level. He even has a Masters in Music from UT to back it up!

Really nice stuff. This goes to show, you can know a lick (or a word), it doesn't mean you'll think of using it or make cool combinations. This is a great reminder. And this guys reeks of a seasoned drummer. Awesome...

I honestly believe that a lot of my problem with my bass drum speed is that I don’t have my pedal adjusted correctly! Then when I start adjusting it I make it worse!! I have a few decent pedals. I’ve played drums at conventions and other places where the pedals are so perfect that I want to sneak the pedal out with me!! Lol. I don’t want to go to jail though!! Any tips from anyone??
