Sterling is a beautiful horse, he's also a beautifully marked Appaloosa. the horse is not soft in the Bridle at all and he does not like that bit, perhaps with more training the horse will become softer or they will find a different bit for him.

Dear God!...You don't ride a shank bit with contact!! look at that gapping mouth! Lovely horse but my goodness, this is not an example of how it is supposed to be, it is an example of skipping many steps and forcing it. God bless this horse please.

ya and ya, needs work horse isnt waiting, counter bend all the time if this was judged like dressage he would be crucified

@@Priggle44 And it is still poor horsemanship. Counter bend is wrong in any riding, it sets horse up to fall as weight is to the inside and feet are to the outside, horse is looking wrong direction.... doesnt matter what kind of riding, it is basic, bend and look the direction your going. I showed reining so I know that sport also.

I was there watching this guy he placed top ten so must have been a good run to the judges
