Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019: Lallantop election team is covering assembly elections 2019. During our Pune visit, we came across this beautiful place called Pune Nagar Vachan Mandir. This is a library built in 1848 and still functioning. Access to thousands of books at very nominal fees is the main attraction of this place. Know more in this video. शानदार मुबारक भाई बहुत अच्छा लगा मैं पुणे में जब रहता था तो इस जगह के बारे में नहीं जनता था। अच्छा लगा आप से इस विषय में और स्थान के बारे में जान कर वो 100 % ज्ञान वृद्धि वाली बात एक दम सही है।

The library is good an heritage place.Has reading Hall also. Used to go there but the front desk person was rude, troublesome then discontinued.

Everything looks great except the fact that you need to have local to pune to get membership. Rental agreement etc does not work. Reason:people do not return the books. I understand the reason but there should be some other measure to counter the problem.

Bhai Lokhitwadi Gopal Hari Deshmukh is one of the founders.. and he was the leading rationalist of his era.. and got well known for that..

@@SanjayPatil-mg2ul Lokhitwadi G.H.Deshmukh was a brahmin, and pure rationalist person, exactly opposite of what manuwadis are.. He wrote 100 letters for common public and published through newspapers which promoted rationalist thinking.

Usne one of the oldest bola 2 baar mere dost. Aur 170+ yrs purani dharohar hai, uski tareef karna murkhata nahi ho sakti mitra. In choti cheezo mein galti nikalna theek hai par usse jaroori hai ki matra rs. 30 mahine ki membership di jaati hai.
