THANK YOU! after a motor fire (don't use simonk ESC's with large, low KV motors, ie sunnysky 4000+) i couldn't figure out why my new (t-motor pro) ESC's were not responding to throttle input. i had switched to mode 4. knew i needed to switch back to mode 1 to calibrate them but, nothing. spent an entire day troubleshooting, EVERYTHING! then watched this video and realized i had forgotten to CONFIRM the mode change. man..sometimes its the simplest little thing. well i ruined my saturday, thank YOU for saving my sunday.

Does this have to be done on all Futaba Receivers? I am using the R7003SB with PowerBoxes and I do not have to do this to get them to work via Sbus with the Mercury or Royal PowerBoxes.

Can you use the batter that comes with the remote to do this?

I have exactly the same problem with the phantom. Perhaps Naza and R7008SB do not work together in general..? Did you get any information on this?

can you use sbus for 8 channels then also use conventional channels?

I followed this video trying to place the R7008SB into mode B to be connected to the DJI Naza controller. It doesn't work. I have three R7008SB and non will work via s-bus. The R6303SB works fine via s-bus with the Naza controller. Anyone has any idea why?
