19-hour ferry trip from Osaka, Japan to Busan, Korea. 360-degree panoramic deck

I traveled from Osaka to Busan on the Korean ferry, "Panstar Dream".
The ferry departs from the Osaka International Ferry Terminal at 5:00 p.m. and arrives in Busan at noon the next day.
This ferry makes three round trips between Osaka and Busan every week.
The service was suspended for three years due to Corona, but resumed at the end of 2022.
This time, I booked a "Junior Suite".
The price was $100 one-way ($192 round-trip, until the return flight on April 14) as part of a campaign for the resumption of operations.
The original price is $160 one way and $250 round trip.
In addition, $30 was required to charter a room for single occupancy and $33 for other expenses.
From Osaka to the Seto Inland Sea, through the Kanmon Straits, to the Tsushima Straits, and then to Pusan.
It was an enjoyable ferry trip full of romance.

4-5년전에 조카랑 오사카 유니버셜스튜디오 갔다올때 이용했던 배네요. 돌아올 때는 날씨가 안좋아서 조금 고생을 했던 기억이 있습니다. 기회가 되면 다시 가서 좀더 제대로 놀고 오자고 조카랑 약속했습니다. 그때 기억도 떠올리면서 재미있게 봤습니다. 좋은 영상 고맙습니다

Thank you for the detailed explanation and guidance from a Japanese perspective on traveling by cruse from Osaka to Busan. Watching your KZfaq videos made me want to travel to Japan by cruse. When you arrived in Busan, I thought that more foreign language guidance signs should be available to accommodate foreigners.

Arigato for the video! Great room and views, wow. I've always wondered what kind of fuel these huge ferries run on? Especially on such a long trip...to power such a ship? I assume it's gas....but not sure

I went to Panstar website, and checking for Busan to Osaka round trip, how come it's saying not available? Does this route sail through out the year or seasonal?

Thank you for your comment. This ferry is out of service for docking from late April to early May, but operates all year round. I just checked Panster's site. I can book online without any problem. Perhaps the Japanese site can only be booked from Japan.🚢😥😥😥

ラウンジのジュースはオレンジとザクロの2種類なのですが、何故かオレンジはすぐに無くなってしまいます。どちらも飲みましたが、なかなか美味しかったです。因みにラウンジでのお酒の提供は21時から1時までだったかと。スタッフさんが常駐してないので、船内電話で呼びました。私は生ビールを注文しました。

What a great trip. Definitely underrated Ferry route from Osaka to Busan. I hope the China border can be opened and you can try Ferry from Osaka to Shanghai, I'm curious about inside that ferry. Also I'm curious, is there Ferry route from Japan to Taiwan? Since the departure on the afternoon, you can see surrounding at Seto Inland Sea.

Thank you for your comment. I wish there were more ferries from Osaka to Busan. Ferries from Osaka to Shanghai are currently not carrying passengers, only cargo. The ferry connecting Japan and Taiwan used to leave from Okinawa, but unfortunately it was discontinued a few years ago. Going abroad by boat is a lot of fun. I hope there will be more ferries to overseas.😄😄😄🚢🚢🚢

The interior of this ship is really like a maze. Walking around the ship was a bit like an adventure. The outside deck is also intricate. The view from the rooftop deck was fantastic.😆🛳️🚢

Thank you for your comment. You can make an online reservation from Panster's official website. However, it seems that only Japanese and Korean are supported. Also, this ship will be in dock from mid-April to early May, so reservations are not possible during that period. Please enjoy the cruise.😄😄😄🚢

フィリピにょりこんにちは！Thank you for showing us the onboard experience for Panstar Dream. I have always wondered how it compares to the other Japan-Korea ferries. I think this one has been the most luxurious, so far. I love that the uppermost deck near the radar (also called monkey island) is accessible to passengers - it offers an unobstructed view of everything around you. And it seems that some of the kitchen staff (26:22) are from the Philippines as well. Glad to see some of my kababayan (fellow countrymen) are doing their best in this industry. Looking forward to more of your videos!

I don't know of any other ferry that allows passengers to go in and out of the deck so freely. The kitchen staff were cheerful and kind. I learned from your comment that they are Filipinos. 계획된 출항시간 30분전에 배가 떠났다? 상식적으로 있을수 없죠. 아무리 빨리빨리문화가 있다하더라도...혹시 촬영자가 착각했거나 항만 사정으로 배가 떠날수 밖에 없었을거라 보네요. 선장이 마음대로 저 큰 국제선 배를 움직일수 없습니다. 항만관리소에서 허락이 있어야 가능합니다.

残念ながらこのフェリーに障碍者手帳の割引はありません...。船内はバリアフリーでない部分もあるようですが、スタッフさんたちができる限りの対応はしてくれるようようです。🚢😌

You should come to Nova Scotia Canada. There is a museum there that has items from the Titanic. Maybe the ferry terminal in Japan can have a restaurant and a shop. Lovely trip.

닭볶음 ->오리볶음 , 어린정어리-> 멸치, 말린생선국 -> 미역국 입니다. 오사카훼리는 타본적이없는데 부관과 고려훼리보다 좀더 나아보이네요. 연식이연식인지라 어쩔수없지만....그리고 출항시간은 지역 출항관리소에서 컨트롤하기때문에 4시30분 출발이 4시가된건 배가 그렇게 하고싶어서 한다기보다 오사카 관제소에서 허가떨어진거일겁니다. 마지막으로 동해와 대한해협이라는점 남기고갑니다.

한국인으로서 일본해가 아닌 동해라고 부르는건 맞지만 32:51 쓰시마해협을 '통해' 북쪽으로 향한다는 자막은 문제가 없습니다. 부산~대마도는 대한해협이지만 대마도~일본본토는 쓰시마해협이 맞으니까요

@@capsulejapan bonjour, je ne fais malheureusement pas de voyage en ferry, c'est grâce à toi que je voyage et merci beaucoup pour ces beaux moments. Pour ton voyage en France en effet c'est vraiment pas le bon moment. Beaucoup de grèves avec les trains et surtout Paris est envahit de poubelles à cause de la grève, c'est immonde avec une très mauvaise odeur et des rats, vraiment pas le bon moment. Bon courage et merci

说到免签这个问题！这两天看到日本申请旅游签证的申请里面需要提供月薪50万日元的收入证明这个条件是非常难的希望可以放松要求不然怕是这辈子都去不了了(笑) 不过免签是不可能的中国是人口大国工资水平是普遍较低的如果免签的话日本和韩国将会人满为患哈哈！

办理签证的手续是非常复杂的并且要花很多钱很多国家的签证就算是办理了也只能去一次！就算把材料准备好了也不一定给你下签完全是要看运气的(´,,•㉨•,,`)

A trip from Melbourne Victoria to Perth Western Australia take 4 days to travel by train or by car, and those two cities are 2000 imperial miles apart (2000 miles equal 3218.688 kilometers (2000mi = 3218.688km). The Australian Coast line is 25,760 kilometres. According to The World Factbook, Australia has the sixth longest coastline in the world, at 25,760 kilometres (16,010 mi).

Hi Angus MacKinnon, I have never been to Australia, but your comment has made me think of the vast lands I have yet to see. I would love to spend many days traveling the desert and coastline by car. Japan is smaller in area than Australia but has about the same length of coastline. The coastline is complex and there are many islands, which is why so many ferries are used. And we can even go to Korea by ferry. I would like to give you Korean soju!😊

First you will need a good Toyota Land Cruiser, fitted out for the outback. Fuel is not easy to come by on outback tracks, and when you can get it; there are chances that water is mixed in with the fuel due to rain water leaking into service station fuel tanks. Petrol in the outback is very expensive. There is a track known as the TANAMI TRACK. It takes two days to cross the vast expanse of the Tanami Desert, allowing time for you to take in a few awe-inspiring surprises along the way, including the second largest meteorite crater in the world, freshwater wetlands filled with birdlife and one of the most remote art galleries on Earth. Located in Western Australia's East Kimberley region, the Tanami Track is a 1,013 kilometre long desert road that stretches from the Great Northern Highway near Halls Creek to the Stuart Highway near Alice Springs. What is the roughest track in Australia? The Madigan Line, Northern Territory The Simpson Desert is the largest parallel dune desert in the world, so it makes sense that there are multiple options when it comes to crossing it. The most challenging and remote of these is the northern Madigan Line, which makes the better-known French Line look like a highway in comparison. Driving from Adelaide to Darwin takes you through central Australia on the Stuart Highway, which isn't an easy undertaking, but it's most definitely worth it. The Adelaide to Darwin drive takes in some of the most interesting and lesser-known locations in Australia, such as Coober Pedy, Uluru and the Devils Marbles. Stuart Highway in Northern Territory, Australia The Stuart Highway stretches over nearly 3,000 kilometers from Adelaide to Darwin. Youth Hostels vary between $38.00 per night to about $50.00 per night. I am trying to find out how much a Litre of Petrol and Diesel will cost. You'd be better off with a Diesel Land Cruiser. I had a brand new 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser diesel and that was very heavy on fuel. I used to joke that it gave the economy of 10 Litres per 1 Meter travelled, and I am glad my boss was paying for that. The outback (desert) gets very hot in summer and travel at those times are ill advised. Many people have become lost or have died out there due to the heat. There is a town in Western Australia named MARBLE BAR. The temperature 49.3C high was the hottest it has ever been in the town and, during December, Marble Bar clocked 14 days above 45C. Eight of those were one after each other. The average daily high in December in the town was a whopping 44.1C. People have known to fry eggs on the road bitumen without a fry pan. If you wish to travel from Melbourne to Perth by Road, it will still take you four or five days but the road is sealed and does travel though some desert along the Nullabor Plains. Hi Angus MacKinnon san, your commentary has helped me understand that the Australian desert is far beyond my imagination. I am surprised that we have to think first of securing fuel. The Tanami track is 1013 meters long! That is not much different from the length of the Japanese archipelago. I am sure it must be mentally and physically hard to drive this road in a Toyota Land Cruiser for days on end. Traveling the Stuart Highway is the ultimate drive for Australians too. This is the ultimate drive for anyone's life. It may be a very impossible journey for me, but I would love to see the Australian desert with my own eyes someday. And it is interesting that you know so much about the Australian desert. Are you a desert guide? Hope you had a pleasant and tasty dinner today.😊
