"army cadets were hospitalized for injuries caused by hazing" humiliating and sometimes dangerous initiation rituals, especially as imposed on college students seeking membership to a fraternity or sorority. "seven officers of the fraternity were charged with hazing" Hazing doesn't have a positive connotation or definition, it can be a form of torture, and we can't try to downplay it, this is hazing.

Knew a guy from high school who joined a notorious frat(hazing and later known as a rape factory) at our college just for the same reason. The last I heard from him was that he was dealing with really bad alcoholism. We wanted to help but he just pushed us away.

It's kind of sad that he was desperate enough to go back and hang out with them. That's not a good enough excuse to endure any fraction of what happened before he even was hospitalized.

Sounds like he’s putting himself in uncomfortable situations on purpose because he knows nothing else. That itself, is sad. But the world is full of horrible people and things and it’s your responsibility to not put yourself in such a terrible situation. Sad he didn’t have proper guidance

I don't think suing would do much. The teens likely have very little to no money. However, I think decades in prison would suffice, also, one year of marine boot camp.

@@MrBoDiggety I was talking about suing any institution that enables this type of behavior to happen on their grounds. I understand this particular situation happened in a private setting, but, like reported above, it happens all too often in frat houses. If the schools were held liable, they'd soon put a stop to it.

A week prior to his hospitalization, there was a video posted to social media of him being watered with a god damn garden hose tied to a chair. 🤣😂💀 How do his parents not intervene, how does he continue to hang out with these kids? His parents failed him miserably

@@dominicbowie092 they did worse to him before that also another time they had spray-painted him and vomited on him and so why was his self-esteem so low that he kept going back my God anybody else would rather not be around them and have to be lonely for a while until he could find people he had something in common with who eventually would become friends

It’s easy to say that when your not friendless.

Im friendless but its not bad it does get lonely sometimes but it helps of you have a pet. Im really fortunate to be close with my sisters as well. Im friendless because i choose to. Keeping friends takes a lot of work effort and time and i rather put that work effort and time into someone that i know will love me unconditionally and that person is me. Teach yourself self love not selfishness.

@@tomt4588 it would happen at Chico U. Every three years or so. It finally happened when the university had enough. They said it was criminal and held the students accountable and even shut down some frat house for good. It’s wrong for them to do this, but the students just have to join a frat!

For example: you can join us but only after you help someone with something, show your humanity, do a good deed.
