Humor has been pretty advanced for awhile. If you watch silent films, you will realize that you can relate to some of the humor to modern day humor.

Grew up on looney tunes here in Los Angeles and visited familia every summer in Mexico. But i never watched TV there. Too busy running around con primos. Very cool info thanks for sharing. I will ask my dad if he remembers .

What a gem! Have been looking for a silent film I remember seeing as a young boy being shown at birthday parties etc. It was the man with the bullet car and the magnet. We called it the 'Lazy Man' film but don't know its real title. Can you help, please? Love to see the complete film again. What happy memories.

The eighties comedy, "Moving Violations", borrowed the multiple car push gag. Director Del Lord, was an accomplished stunt driver in the silent era, later directed "Three Stooges". I love the magnet gag, car predates Bill Burke's bellytank by a few years!!!

Watch when either Billy Bevan or Snub Pollard - not quite sure which it is, is pushing the cars over the cliff. Across the valley is a man ploughing with a horse - who never even notices, and just carries on ploughing.
