To get 43+ million votes on billboard for EXO wow It just shows that we EXO-L's are very dedicated and hardworking. WE ARE NOT LAZY!!?! lol. Don’t be discouraged by what u see on billboard! THAT’S JUST BILLBAORD MAN!!!?! PFFT & PLUS~!!! it’s very obvious why the other group can easily get that many votes. Reason why BTS has more votes cause obviously they have more exposure to everyone compared to EXO cause of that 1 billboard award that (in my opinion) like at least half of the k-pop community helped Army vote BTS for to advertise K-pop in that billboard competition/ it was BTS vs Ariana, Selena, & Justin, of course kpop fans in general will vote BTS (*whether they are an army or not) so that people know that k-pop is popular as a whole/it was a good opportunity to advertise k-pop! and it worked. The same thing/tactic was done when the whole k-pop community voted for Tiffany from Girls Generation to win ''Best Music Video'' in 'KZfaq Awards' back in 2013. I was there when it happened. Oh how many k-pop fans from different fandoms were like ‘’ I love how we are all voting for GirlsGeneration but we all gonna be like savage in MAMA awards haha voting our own groups’’ was countless.
