Subhaanallaah, I learned more about the Islamic history from these two videos than 10 years of school life. What a waste that was. Thank you both sheikhs for this informative lecture.

I am appalled with the comments after finishing the video. Absolutely revolting. No wonder we're in the situation we're in as Muslims. Your too busy criticizing and haven't listened to any of the valuable information. Jazak al Khair sheikh. Jazakum Allah Khair at MIC for facilitating the lecture.

I haven't finished watching yet, but I wanted to listen to the new speaker before I responded to the comments. The impression I get after reading the comments is that we have become very narrow minded and disrespectful people after living in the west. No disrespect to the west, but particularly in America accents are tolerated the least compared to other western countries. Just because someone speaks with an accent doesn't mean they think with one. If we judge our sources of information based on their accent or speech we will loose out on otger vital views and experiences. What's really sad is that most people who commented negatively probably have a close kin with an accent. I'm speaking after seeing first hand university students snicker on a number of occasions about professors'accents. Educate yourself people. I am enjoying Sheikh Nabil Bayakli portion and am learning many new points. Pls include him and other great valuable resources from our community. Jazakum Allahu Khairan

This was fantastic..i think one needs to watch this a few times to digest the facts...Yasir's Part 1 was brilliant and painted broad strokes...this version was very detailed and scary ...initially I thought it should not have been "only" about Palestine but as the talk rolled it became clear that Palestine is "THE ISSUE" of our lives...we HAVE to educate ourselves in these areas to understand the linkages and not make mistakes of the past, the biggest of which is disunited sectarianism...without even looking at comments ill bet some people will criticize Yasir for being Salafi,Wahabi,Shia lover,etc,etc...yet, here we have a guy who has a bsc in Chemical engineering, is a doctor in Islamic theology ,is young and dynamic, has a high profile and is ambitious....frankly a rarity in the Islamic world...

Masha'Allah, i learned so much from these lectures, Insha'Allah there will be more. And people criticizing Nabil should have a hard look at themselves, could you have done it better?? Then why are you not there?? I couldnt care less who made the lectures as long as i am getting the information, and lets face it, if you are only listening to such lectures because you have favourite people with great presentation skills, it only means you are interested in the enjoyment of the story and not the information. I enjoyed and listened 2 or 3 times over part 1 and 2 :) May Allah(SWT) bless both Yasir and Nabil for taking their times to teach and open our eyes to this forgotten subject, Ameen. Palestine is a fake fake name, by the evil Roman Emperor Adrian, He also named Jerusalem by the fake name: Aelia Capitolina, The name of the land was, of course Judea and Samaria. The Mandate on Palestine was: Jordan, West Bank and Israel. The Saudis, the arabs receive 70% of it: Jordan The Palestinian ppl is an Arab dub invention in 1948 through the UN. 90% of those arabs lived in north west bank not in Israel area. The arabs are invaders in the Middle East, in Israel area as well. Good luck to Kurdistan

This comment just shows how this bitter style of lecturing is creating hatred.... Im sure a lot of good will come out of this way of thinking. Is it really so easy for a muslim to wish death and destruction upon others? You want a war between israel and Iran so thousands or even millions will die? You have the mind of a savage and this lecture just cements your already biased way of looking at history. This lecture does not try to be unbiased at all just for your information. There are minor inaccuracies that are a result of the ideology oif the speaker that paint everyone else as the evil ones responsible for the shit that muslim countries are currently in. But the fact is that it is EXACTLY THIS attitude towards history, of blaming others in your failure that is preventing muslims from flourishing. Those that blame others are those that are not ready to take their fate in their own hands.

Man, that comment about the Crusaders just showing up unprovoked is so accurate. If Jerusalem really mattered to the Western Europeans, they would have set out to take it in the late 600s, if not, definitely by the 700s. The Byzantines cared, they tried for 400 years to take it back. Emperor Nikephoros II came the closest, if he were not murdered by his nephew. It seems every time a monarch gets close to Jerusalem, they get assassinated or something goes wrong.

The crusades were nothing but the efforts of the Europeans to push back the Islamic invasion, after managing to close the door of Europe to the Muslims. Those were the doors of Vienna in 9/11 1683 (The Battle of Vienna). The Islamic invasion of the Mediterranean lands, the Islamic siege on Europe are one of the mayor reasons for the dark Middle ages which fell over Europe. It was Islam

Chilli Sam Don't get me wrong, Sheik Imran's lectures are very interesting to watch as well as informative. Unfortunately it was his predicting of future events that put me off a bit. Any Muslim, and especially Muslim scholars I don't believe should be predicting and coming to conclusions of what only Allah knows. Enough information of what to expect and when the time is definitely near was given by our Prophet(Peace be up Him). It is not up to us to start predicting this or that about Allah's plan. It's not much different from going to a fortune teller to ask about future events. He has a lot of knowledge which I think he should use for lectures as Sheik Yasir is doing, giving us great insight into our history and properly explaining with authentic references about Islam. I'm not saying Sheik Imran teaches unauthentic, but when you start going off predicting things that only Allah knows, I don't think it's right. There is reasons why he comes to his predictions, but that is another topic which involved his school of thought that he did say he was no longer associated with.

Salam ualaykum, although the video is provides a good amount of information on the issue there is one big problem. The sheikh keeps referring to the United Nations but the UN was not established until after WW2. I checked for the United Nations resolution 22 and it had nothing to do with Palestine. What the sheikh should be referring to is the League of Nations, and the Covenant of the League of Nations: Article 22. I really feel like it takes away from the credibility of the talk when mistakes such as that are made.

Nice video. But why are you conflating the Al-Aqsa as a "Muslim" cause with the issue of Palestinian statehood? Jews today have no claim whatsoever (except for a small minority of extremists) on Al-Aqsa or any other part of the Temple Mount compound. In fact, there is a sign at the Western Wall that explicitly states that entering the Template Mount is forbidden according to Jewish law. The whole conflict appears to be burning red hot because of confusion about Jews' intent for Al-Aqsa... a confusion which you seem to be propagating.

pandichef did you not see the map at the end of the video on how much of the Palestinian land has been taken by Israel? Who’s to say that they wouldn’t do take that too? It is in/near the same compound as the wailing wall as far as I know

@@21972012145525 That map is wrong. The land in 1946 was the "British Mandate of Palestine". It was a British colony effectively, not an Arab state. And everyone there was Palestinian, even Jews. Seriously, Jews living there used to call themselves Palestinian. Also, the wailing wall is the OUTER wall of the compound. And that's why it became important to Jews; that is the closest they can get - assuming they're following religious law - without actually being in the compound itself.

I dont have any problem with the Brother i would prefer to listen to YQ becayse of how he breaks things down and his speech pattern and direction of the talk. The other brother is dry and sometimes take a while to get to the point. I started to fall asleep after the intro. Nothing wrong with that. Some pekple are just better at speaking. YQ could have taken the info from this brother and made it work. Allahualim. May allah bless them both. Knowlegde is knowlegde no matter how its given. So sometimes you have to take it how you get it.

The second guy is clearly very knowledgeable (way more knowledgeable than me!), but he makes mistakes in his wording and presentation and accidentally says some incorrect facts, also could work on having a better structure since his story jumps from topic to topic without a clear logical link with evidence. He also trails off and mumbles at the end of a sentence and then starts a completely new topic. The first guy has better presentation skills, and was more factual and less descriptive, this is better for daawaa, seeing as a lot of non-muslims will see these videos and will be trying to pick apart any mistakes or inconcistencies Still a good presentation though! I respect him for choosing this topic and for the knowledge he has, and I know he will probably watch back on the video and improve. Keep it up!

With due respect Dr Nabil was not organized and he was bringing in new terminologies frequently without explaining clearly. It's difficult to follow him.

Jazaak Allah. I never really understood the Palestine struggle and the attrocities against them as well as I saw in this video. Did the British not aid in or allowing this to happen? Now we see very British style movies that support the Palestinians and condemn the Israelis. They look as if they are on the right side. The USA and Israel look bad in media and the British look rather innocent.

It's a complex issue. It's not a religious issue. It's a land conflict. The only way to get a fair assessment of this conflict is from non Jews n non Palestinians. I'm a non Arab Muslim. I'm anti Zionist but I'm not anti Jew because Nabi Yaakob, Musa, Daud,...... Isa alaihissalam are all Muslim prophets of Jewish origin. Now, I'm confused. The Quran in surah Almaidah ayah 21,al araf ayah 137,sura al isra, ayah 104. Allah talks about the Muqaddasa land being reserved for the Bani Israelites. They have a long history of Prophet Daud n Prophet Sulaiman, pbut, were Jewish Kings. We Muslims read the Quran, don't we? Now, the word Palestine. Is it an Arab word? There is no P in Arabic. I thought it's a Greek word, Pilistine. Goliath who fought Nabi Daud is a Pilistine. We read the Quran, don't we? Is Palestin mentioned in the Quran? . Allah mentioned Misr, Saba, Madyan, Balbek. I never come across the word Palestine. I agree Israelis are not the only inhabitants of the area. There are also Assyrians, Pilistines, Phoenicians. But to claim that this land is Palestine is far stretched. The word Palestine came to prominence only in modern history when British Christians used the name for their hatred of the Jews. I would certainly like to know the history of PALESTINE, their kings, civilization, culture, heritage,.... Hijacking Pilistines for Palestinians is not right. Pilistines were Greek Descendants, not Arabs, non Muslims, pagans, enemy of Nabi Daud, pbuh. If Palestinians do not like the influx of European Jews coming here, then they too shouldn't go to Europe n America. Both of you shouldn't gone have to America. Many Muslims have gone to Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand,America....Good Christians such as Trudeau, Jacinda, Angela Merkel, Jimmy Carter, Obama n good Jews such Senator Bernie Sanders give shelter to Syrian Refugees. No double standard please. However said, I hate the EVIL Zionists(the bad Jews n bad right wing Christians). The Arab Palestinians who play the victims are no less evil. Crowding a land where Allah has already reserved the Muqaddasa for the descendants of Nabi Yaakob. Surah al maidah. Verse, 21 translation. Nabi Musa as, calling his Bani Israelites. "oh my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has ordained for you." and later Allah helped Nabi Daud as to beat Goliath of the Pilistines to become King of Israel. History of the Quran. To the evil Zionist, remember, the Jews wonder for 40 years in Sinai for not following Nabi Musa as. Again the Jews were exiled to all parts of the world for 2000 "years for their crime on Nabi Isa aka Jesus as.If they have evil design, welcome. ALLAH is there waiting for you. Want to taste another long years of exile? Whatever right is from Allah, whatever wrong is from me.
