Im very interested Brandon as I grew up in Broken Arrow when it was a tiny sleepy suburb of Tulsa in the 60s & 70s. I raised my children primarily in Tulsa & lived there for the bulk of their childhoods. Point of note. Tulsa offered each survivor of 1921 100,000 each & a seed gift of 2 million for the survivor's families. They accepted. THEN a lawyer came back & asked for 1 million for each survivor & a seed gift of 50 MILLION!!! Tulsa said no. For any naysayers in the audience, you can google this same as I did. Even though Ive lived there as an adult & in Oklahoma the majority of my life, I was born in Iowa so I didnt learn of any of this until a couple years ago. It isnt taught in Oklahoma history, however, when Oklahoma banned CRT, they did agree to teach this. I dont know abt it being a lie as there is a living relative with a detailed journal; so, Im very interested in this video🇺🇲🙏✌💙

I am 66 years old born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I was never taught about the race riot in school, but my father and uncle shared it with us when we were older. My grandfather owned a store on Black Wall Street and also their house. Yes, there are documents by Black people about what happened, actually what happened. Exactly. That’s why most Progressives are racists-and ironically, why the Democrat Party is one of the last vestiges of real institutionalized racism in America. Instead of an expectation of excellence, Democrats continue to embrace the bigotry of low expectations, always placating and pandering to the lowest common denominator as representative of the entire community. They perpetuate the very stereotypes they claim to despise, especially their inherent belief that black people are incapable of achieving success without the help of others, namely, white liberals. These aren’t allies; Democrats are enablers who have caused irreparable harm by infantilizing the black community and treating them like children.

I lived a block South of TU for part of the 70's when The Camelot Hotel was in full swing (it had a few secrets of it's own especially the top floor), and a drive out to ORU included about 4 miles of drive through the country. The Broken Arrow Expressway was still under construction in town and basically unusable to go anywhere. I lived in Tulsa again in the mid 80's when there was still nothing south of URU and Broken Arrow was still a "tiny sleepy suburb of Tulsa". That is when I found out about the " Tulsa Race Riots" which is exactly what it was called at the time and what it is called in all historical documentation about it (and until very recently, how the Wiki page for it was titled) . The way that I found out about it was a bit odd. I had gotten lost in Downtown North Tulsa and had run across a large area where there were house foundations and concrete steps , but no houses. I asked someone about it and they explained that there had been "some sort of race riot back in the 20's or 30's or something like that and a whole bunch of houses got burned down". Ah, okay...So, I went to the Downtown Library and asked the Librarian about it and then did a little research. Admittedly, not a lot at the time because I was just feeding my curiosity. I have done a lot more research on it in the early 2000's because ...well, I'm a History Nerd and the internet is awesome. The original police reports were particularly interesting, though I doubt that they can be found online any longer. I have wondered how long it was going to take someone to mention the Dick Rowland (not his birth name) aka "Diamond Dick Rowland, and the 75 armed black men showing up at the jail (not that they did not have a valid concern as there had been a lynching of a white man a year earlier for murder) , part of the story. In the 1920's Tulsa was still very much still a part of the "wild west" as it were. In 1921 Oklahoma was only 14 years into statehood, and the Oil Boom was in full swing. You can think of it as Post Dalton Gang but Pre Bonnie and Clyde. BTW Dick Rowland 's case was dropped and he was released, after the girl sent a letter to the county prosecutor ,after the riot, and presumably all of the media attention (sensationalism and yellow journalism always sells!) , saying that she did not wish to prosecute. That is the thing about really learning history, EVERYTHING is interconnected and there is ALWAYS more to the story.

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs - partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.” ― Booker T. Washington

1 - Sarah Page never pressed charges and said the assault never took place. The two were reportedly romantically involved. 2 - Rodney King was a thug but the police are not allowed to sentence and administer punishment as righteous as that might seem. However, I still cannot find anything alluding to King assaulting an officer anywhere. 3 - Jacob Blake was accused of assault and not convicted. Charges were dropped. In the footage of the shooting, Blake has a knife in his hand and is walking away from the officers as he is putting it back into his car - not attacking the police. 4 - Yes, Blacks owned slaves, greed and cruelty knows no bounds but Anthony Johnson was not the first slave owner. He had 5 indentured servants (different from slaves) 4 WHITE and 1 BLACK. The Black man said he had served his time as a servant and went to work for another landowner. Johnson sued for the rights to the servant. After an appeal, he was awarded the servant for life. The first official "slave" is said to be john Punch, who was placed into lifetime servitude while his white counterparts only received an extended amount of servitude with the ability to become free. We can disagree on things but we should be able to speak while referring to facts and not half-truths, or outright lies

Man this Tatum dude is full of it. The young man whose name is Dick Rowland (google him). He was a well known shoe shiner who made a lot of money (in those times) shinning the shoes of wealthy white businessman. He had to leave the building he worked in to go to another because his building did not have a colored restroom so the owner made arrangements for his "Colored" employees to use the restroom in a building nearby that had a "Colored" restroom. The young man stumbled and grabbed the young elevator worker Sarah Page a 17 y/o white woman. Startled she screamed and the young man ran away. A white person that worked there heard her scream and saw him run away. There was no rape or rape attempt nor was there an assault. The police didn't even press charges. A day later the press wrote a article demanding justice and lynch mobs formed. Sarah Page actually wrote a letter exonerating Mr. Rowland and he was released from prison and taken to Kansas by the Sheriff's department for his own safety. You can google all this or read one of the many books or articles written about this. I'm not understanding Mr. Tatum angle here.

There gone why is that? Because they want to tell another account or story. I was shocked at the censorship that had happened on Google. I'll explain the Emmett Till story for you - A 14-year-old black kid sexually assaulted a white woman. Several white AND BLACK men got together and murdered Till in retaliation. The woman who Till sexually assaulted had nothing to do with his murder. There's the story. The REAL story. Carolyn Bryant did NOT change her story. That's total bullshit. A civil rights activist (no agenda there, right? 😆) interviewed her and CLAIMED she changed her story, but that part of the interview coincidentally wasn't recorded. He changed HIS story several times about why he failed to record that part, and then flat out lied and said she told him in a completely different interview, which he claimed happened before he ever met her. He's a proven liar, and Carolyn Bryant was a victim of a sexual assault. Maybe you should do some REAL research instead of believing whatever stories align with your own biases. You LIKE the narrative that an innocent black angel was murdered because of racism, and an evil white woman was the cause of it. If the races were reversed and a white teenager assaulted a black woman, you'd be on the side of the black woman.

Virginia court changed the status of the black indentured servant after a dispute with Anthony and his neighbor of illegal detaining him. The 250 acre plantation was taken from his family after laws changed regarding blacks being human once he died. There were less than 30 Africans after he was freed and around 2,000 when he died. I read about this 15 years ago at WND.com. It hurts my heart that Brandon is disparaging the black folk who went thru this terror in Tulsa. This is NOT a myth. The father of the great black historian John Hope Franklin wrote his account of the terror. This attorney's account is written about in Smithsonian Magazine. See the end of this posting for the title. White pilots actually dropped incendiary devices from planes and burned buildings from the top down. Postcards were made of the damage and burned corpses and mailed out as though this were an tourist attraction. I saw some of them at WND.com. Many corpses just disintegrated due to the raging fires. That is easy to understand when you see the buildings totally razed to the ground. Also, I have read about black history for decades now. I have found tragic instances of false accusations against black people. So it sounds like the start of the massacre was a false premise. What was called the Black Wall Street was an area in which black enterprise was thriving. You have to see it thru the eyes of blacks 100 years ago. There was so much promise happening there due to the newly discovered oil boom. The Osage Indian Tribe in Oklahoma was the richest people group in the world at that time because their purchased land was gushing oil. That was on land where they had been forced to move. You will hear more about it in the upcoming Martin Scorsese film Killers of the Flower Moon. I worked for a day for America's first prima ballerina Maria Tallchief who was an Osage Indian. There was so much money and hope in the Greenwood area of Tulsa at the time. Then devastation. The strong, resilient blacks rebuilt Greenwood in the years following the terror. This man speaks the truth. Don't be a thug, or just comply. Not one penny of BLM will ever give it to a black family that wants help

I have huge respect for you speaking truth like you are! We need more God-fearing men like you for the success of this nation. I love what you’re doing, I hope you reach 10 times the people that you’re reaching now! Please let me know if I can help, and God bless……

Black people of today may not be perfect. But don’t underestimate the sacrifice of your ancestors for freedom. Every society and culture takes centuries to develop. Black people will lead world one day. I say it and I am not even black.
