Anybody who has owned a t bucket especially one with lots of hp knows that they are not meant to be a fast car. As one person stated, above 60 mph they can start to get unstable and you can loose control. These cars are built for looks only, not speed. They are uncomfortable to drive also. Basically they are useless as a mode of transportation. Remember, if you wreck in one of these, it’s you and the asphalt, no seatbelts, roll bars, or safety equipment of any kind, not something you want to do. However if you want to get noticed, drive one. Lots of fun for a short time. I own one that is blown and fuel injected, looks similar to this one only more brass on mine. It has tons of hp, smaller front wheels and wider back wheels. I built it over 13 years ago and drive it on occasion, so I speak from experience. The car here is a nicely built car, easy to see the attention to detail of it.

Fun car to drive and show off as long as you keep it under 60 mph seriously under 60 faster than that it gets sketchy.

No front brakes? No roll bar? Beautiful car but I wouldn't drive it faster that about 30. I had one once, scared me so after almost losing control of it, I sold it immediately.

i think it would be cool to build a T bucket with a merlin or ford GAA engine all polished up nice, or maybe a v12/16 detroit 2 stroke..it would be different for sure

any idea on what the small front suspension supports going t the bottom of the axel are? shock absorbers struts??

Absolutely beautiful car...BUT PLEASE remove that crapy Chevy engine. I can't tell you how repulsive it is when people put Chevy engines in classic Ford's. Put a Ford power plant in it. Then people will appreciate it more.
