Absolutely gorgeous car - thanks for doing the interview. If what people are saying, it’s a bit odd he’d go on for so long and not mention it’s a recreation not an original. Being able to afford even that is still impressive!

Like the video! But he should mention its a pur sang. I am not sure, but I do not think originally they had electric starter options... ( I could be wrong on this so please correct me if I am wrong ) I always understood the starter is a pur sang option..

No, the original Bugattis had after market electric starters installed as well. Maybe even supplied by Bugatti.

The radiator does not look correct to me; it possibly should be tapered: narrow front to wider back; this one looks parallel. Otherwise, a superb car, replica or not. When driving in a Bugatti the experience is so different to other cars which 'feel' like they have be made in a factory. Bugatti's feel like they have been made in a tool room by toolmakers.

It’s a beautiful thing, and he’s a knowledgeable and personable owner. However it’s not a “1927” Bugatti - it’s under a decade old, made in Argentina by Pur Sang. Around $200-250k versus the $2-3m that the real thing costs.

I read Pur Sang have sintered rather than roller bearing cranks which I suspect would change the characteristics.

A lot of originals have one too when owners use their car on the road instead of track only. If you want to do a Bugatti rally, you have to stop for red lights and Priuses... So that fan keeps your engine from running too hot when you do.
