this record has been part of my collection for a very long time; thank you for doing such a fine job of bringing the music out of the grooves so well. i enjoy both of the melodies here.."love was close to paradise" says it for these marvelous songs as well...paradise. i'll keep hanging at the melody gate for it brings such wonderful good feelings and happiness....take care.

I agree with gregoryagogo; In all due respect, I eagerly await your releases weekly, but find it frustrating when I can't readily recall or know the name of the second song. Would you consider naming the second song in the notes section before the HD reminder? You are the best and thanks!

1.49 sounds like a minor fault on the disc itself, very difficult to eliminate electronically.

So there was Wide Range by 1930, and Full-Range starting to be implemented by 1935 on many labels. What was the difference between Wide-Range from the regular Western Electric abridging with Viva-Tonal in 1925?

....these are just marketing slogans (BS). Good sound has more to do with the engineering work, equipment, and correct processing. There are 1928 records that sound better than 1935. It's all case-by-case, day-by-day. There is no cut-off date when audio changes -- it's all a big uneven progression.

@@Prozoot I figure that to some extent. Though what was some of the stuff that we were using by 1935 compared to around 1928 then? Because for a lot of stuff I do hear differences in sound across many labels separate such as in the ARC, Victor, Decca, etc from the mid 30s.
