Bought for £40.
Barest minimum was done to make it work:
- Cold-rolled steel tube as flat handlebar, with motorcycle grips
- Rust stabilised with Jenolite on rims and spokes
- Cheap new cantilever brake pads from Ebay
- Front brake cable rigged and bronze-brazed
- Rims drilled to fit Schrader tubes (personal preference)
- New tubes and tyres
Needs a new shifter cable (on its way to me) but it works and does what I need it to do.
