The suffering of the population is not shown. Under the regime of the Wehrmacht, thousands die from lack of supplies.

After the battle for Charkiw, the German summer offensive begins. Many soldiers of the 6th Army seen in these shots will later die in the battle for Stalingrad. In August 1943, the Red Army begins the reconquest of Ukraine. From Kharkiv it advances to the west.

Thanks for uploading. To understand what Stalin and 10 years later Hitler have done in Ukraine I recommend to read both books "Bloodlands" and "Black Earth" from the Eastern-European historian Timothy Snyder.

Как человек 21 столетия готова принять любую культуру но только в том случае если это не перечёркивает память и ценности порядочных образованных людей и в том числе моих предков. Немцы в большинстве своем ответственные и трудолюбивые люди, но забыть Освенцим, Бухенвальд и Майданек и любое проявление нацизма это полнейшее эмоциональное дно..
