Walter & Homer Callahan grew up in Madison County , North Carolina & learned to sing & yodel together while still in their teens .They both had active musical careers & by 1939 were in Dallas doing country radio shows & had acquired the nicknames of "Bill"& "Joe." In the 1940's they drifted west to partake in the cowboy musical craze & performed with Wakely & others. Walter "Joe" Callahan died in 1971 at the age of 61. Homer "Bill" Callahan lived to be 90 years of age & died in 2002. This video is for educational purposes.
