Here is a nice video of a 1945 Willys Military Jeep it is For Sale Luzon, Bulacan, Philippines. The owner asked it be posted so he could show it to prospective buyers . Anyone that is into the old military Jeeps will enjoy the video. I talk none because I honestly know nothing about the vehicle other than it's beautiful condition. I do know it was inherited from the owners grandfather.
Here are some pictures. High resolution, so maybe slow loading. They are printable quality jacknorthrup.com/Jeep/1945-Mil...
I have blog Jacknorthrup.com/blog . It has some pictures to complement many of the videos, sometimes extended articles and some videos not publicly released on KZfaq. If you enjoy our KZfaq Channel I am quite sure you will enjoy the blog.
Thank You and Stop on by and say Hello.

I play and make videos of my life in the Philippines. My life overseas has been the adventure of my lifetime. This Vlog of life here is for my memories and show my friends and family back in the USA the Filipino lifestyle and show the world the joy of overseas retirement..

I noticed the steering and engine are after market. Other than that, nice. I used to have a 45 Willy's. Original motor was a 4 cylinder flat head gas engine. I used that jeep for everything, including pulling my Bass boat to the lake. You could put it into low range and never spin a tire in 4 wheel drive.

That is an old old video. That has been sold for years. I found out later it was not really an old jeep. Fake !

It's not a WW2 original but most likely a modified reproduction from MD Juan Enterprise who specialized in making Willys Jeeps parts for restoration. Their Willys Jeep factory is in Quezon City. I believe an American company called Jeepsterman is one of their distributors. You can actually order your own Willys MB Kit and build it yourself.

Nice clean conversion, but nothing on it was in WWII. Gas cap was under the driver's seat not outside, headlights had a bracket they swung on, and the shovel was on the driver's side. Its newer than 1950s, probably from Japan, used police jeep, shipped here and painted, reupholstered... two bad it doesn't have at least 4 wheel drive, waste.

That aint a WW2 jeep. The windscreen doesn't have ventilation shafts on the WW2 variants and the lights are from a CJ2A. So its a 1947 Jeep

Modern engine swapped in, as was the steering column. Exhaust and air intakes high to "ford" water so as not to stall out....side marker lights not original for the time frame, but is a nice looking jeep and priced right !

FYI, to those who leave'd comments that don't have enough knowledge about my motherland. Philippines have a lot of ties with Americans during World War II, those are Filipinos Guerilla's and Filipinos Scouts. And the scouts eventually they started receiving pensions from the USA. One of few examples of the heroic experienced that they endured are the Death March in Bataan and the rescue effort of American POW somewhere in Luzon. And defending the Corregidor Island. So,! Get your facts straight.... Before commenting to any topics.

That's not the original motor 1945 was during WW2 I don't think they placed Japanese motors in our US trucks during the time we were at war with them. Nice recovery on the jeep but without the original motor it's not worth much they still sell these military jeeps here in the US and there not that expensive about under $2000. USD.and very hard to smog in California but nice Jeep though.

That's NOT a 1945 jeep! MB's of the era NEVER had a tailgate so that makes it a 50's vintage M-38. The M-38 never had a diesel or Honda steering column. It's a fun jeep but not authentic. All the parts for this jeep are manufactured in the PI by MD Juan so I suspect that its a fake.

Rich Schwartz 300000php It is not 100% authentic but very, very close. It was owned by his grandfather, who got it right after the USA left. I will ask the Iloilo part. For example the horns are not authentic he wanted a louder horn so the pair are Bosh from an old Mercedes. He made a point of mentioning them because even though not authentic they looked the same and he did not try to save-a-buck. He paid $200 for the pair.
