Gerrit trucking had some of those truck after ww2. My grandfather drove then in mpls MN after he got out of the service. He always said no other truck could compare to it. He loved driving them over all the other manufacturers out there

The cab section of the truck is the bomb. The rest of the truck not so much. Sometimes understated is the best.

Great truck- wonderful color and execution! Scottie, and all; Chip Foose's first entry in the AMBR was a 1940 Ford Panel Sedan- chopped about 3" at the W/S and a little less at the back , fenders peaked and 37 Ford headlights set into the fenders- and a Sunrise kinda paint job that blew you away; he couldn't win the Most Beautiful Roadster Trophy; but he did take most of the rest! Good luck- Trucks are good to first timers at AMBR. I believe it was called the Alien. It will be a great show- the very best in the business and some of the most talented home builders make it so much.
