Thanks for taking the time to film and upload these videos. A lot of channels have disappeared or gone the melodramatic corporate route. Yours is real, just how we like it.

I hate the other over the top car shows. They either makes too easy or too difficult. Yours is really nice it shows how it is. no bs.

I LOVE the fact that you didn't use "riv-nuts' or screws to mount the lines to the frame of the Studebaker, the lines aren't a 'serviceable' part, so why not use rivets! Great job man, VERY TIDY!

That single plane intake is race only, you'll definitely want to run the dual plane on the street or that engine won't have crap for torque - what's most needed on a truck.

The fake drama kills all the shows on tv. Many of the very talented people from those shows have very successful businesses of their own and some now have great KZfaq channels now as well without drama. I was a little disappointed that the Willy’s was only seen being delivered but then you got to the 327 swap. I am looking forward to seeing the Willy’s build.

Ha! Junkyard Empire! The show is actually pretty decent, far better than crap like Counting Cars where they show less than 30 seconds of working on cars in a 45 minute worthless episode.
@GrenadeMotorsports
@GrenadeMotorsports 6 жыл бұрын
Yep, you're right! Junkyard Empire is cool because that guy has what I wished I had- a junkyard and an awesome workspace, people to help and the ever popular thing we all need- money. It's fun, they seem like good people. Thanks for watching!

Have you considered hydraboost to offset the heavier chassis? It's on my short list of things I would like for my truck with bigger tires.
@GrenadeMotorsports

No need on this truck, it maintains the stock Dodge brake system 100%. Thanks for watching!

Use Elderblock Intake ita dual plane intake for the street. The other intake is only good on a drag car will sacrifice power on that motor.

I think the real reason I chose the WEIAND high rise is because I always wanted one when I was in high school. As long as this truck runs good, sounds great and looks cool- it's good enough. It's just a boulevard cruiser anyway. ;) Thanks for watching!
@Mercmad
@Mercmad 6 жыл бұрын
I have used them both but that was 40 years ago. The Edlebrock works extra well if you live i area where their is lots of bumper to bumper driving but the Weiand (say WHY AND ) is great for upper RPM Use. We had a 327 which revved easily to 9 grand using one. Obviously not built as a street engine it was originally in a sprinter (!) but ended up in a 1932 Ford pickup. Down Low the lack of airflow was hopeless requiring lots of low gear driving in Traffic. You will need to calculate the carb size otherwise anything bigger than a 650 is going to feel boggy .
