Sounds great but I believe the 239 flathead was available in 53 for the first year of the f100

Beautiful truck. 1953 was the last year of the flathead v8 in North America and the first year for the OHV 226 six cylinder.

I have a 52 with the inline 6. it has been in my in laws garage in south Texas for over 30 years. just recently got it running with a ton of new parts. It runs like a sewing machine. you have a beautiful truck. I am very happy with my survivor.!!

My father had a white F1. I don't remember if the gear lever was on the column or on the floor.
