Did GM ever do a similar film profiling the inline 6 engines used in GM Trucks, the 235,262, 230, 250, 292 etc?

Lived 11 years in a trailer, sort of, since "Sherman often works around the clock, seven days per week." It's a wonderful life.

If only people cared that much about fires now, they actually cared about the forest, then again they would lose their business if the woods burnt down

That beach dump truck probably rusted to dust within a year.

First thing I thought of. All that salt water! That engine will always start so long as there’s no water in the intake, but he won’t be able to “drive off” if the drivetrain rusts off. But GM loves this irresponsible behavior. Back then, trucks were workhorses. Not some expensive luxury family vehicle like they are today. They want the American worker to buy a new truck every year or so. They still do. Only all that undercoating and plastics allow them to last longer, so mechanically they need to fail quicker. ...just not quick enough that the consumer gives up on the brand due to reliability issues. After all, if a vehicle never rusts, and is always dependable, there is no reason for any owner to want to buy something newer, especially now that they’ve been made inferior on purpose.
