Learned to drive on a55 Black Firedome. Parents friends had a 55 Fireflite. Have loved DeSoto from 55 to final 61s. One of the most beautiful instrument panels (55 and 61) ever! This one is a true gem! 🏆 songs 🎵 It's Delightful 🎶It's Delovely 🎵 IT'S 🎶DeSoto! 🎵 And tell them Groucho sent you! 😉

Quantas fábricas maravilhosas ficaram para trás. Parece que tudo que era charmoso, vivo e espirituoso foi sendo deixado de lado. Deu-se preferência a produção rápida e em serie de modelos ocos de espírito. Mas felizmente existem máquinas do tempo que nos permitem visitar o passado novamente.

The one-year-only, dash mounted gear selector for Chrysler built cars. Then, Chevy brought it back 5 yrs later for the Corvair, then it went away again. Now, look at the number of vehicles using a dash mounted selector today. Like they say, "everything old is new again"!
