I was only 8 years old at the time, but I remember some of the series.

Game described @ 9:54 vs. Giants was 7/21 - not last Braves series at Polo Grounds. that was 8/27-28. Game action shown was from 8th inning only, the Bressoud homer was not the last hit in Polo Grounds. Game at Ebbets Field was the Braves last game there - 8/24, part of long road trip to all NL cities - Pitt., Brklyn, Phil., NY, Cin., Chi., St.L. from 8/19 to 9/5 the last year that could happen. Milwaukee fans were 'fair weather' fans - 1958 attendance was down almost 300K and declined every year till they left for more 'fair weather' fans but a bigger TV audience in the southeast (pre-TBS). No footage from Series games in NY, where Braves clinched hmmmm...

How did Milwaukee lead MLB in attendance 5 years in a row and then move to Atlanta in less than 10 years?

Read Hank Aaron's autobiography, "I Had A Hammer". He speaks of how the Milwaukee Braves banned spectators from bringing their own beer to the ballpark. Although the ban was later rescinded, Aaron said that nobody could tell Milwaukee citizens where, or how, they could consume beer. After that, the relationship between the team and the citizens --- once, one of the tightest bonds in sports history --- was never the same.

They beat the Yankees in 1957 in game 7 in yankee stadium 5-0, In 1958 they led the series 3-1 , I f......ckin repeat they should won BOTH those series.
