Man. The chev, the buicks, the oldsmobiles, the cadillacs. What a time to be alive in the late 50s. When cars weren’t just cars. They were a work of art. I was born about 20 years too late. Lol

You are a lucky man, the 58 sixty special is one of my dream cars. That is a absolutely beautiful Cadillac and I hope you have many years of joy driving that impressive machine. Take good care of her, and she will be good to you.

Thanks for the nice compliments, however I only did a PPI for the happy buyer.

I can't thank Grayson enough for his inspection. With the Caddy being sold across the country from me out in NJ, this was the only way I could get "eyes" on the car. Grayson's report, video, and phone call gave me the peace of mind that this was the beauty that I had been searching for. This Caddy currently lives out in Portland Oregon. I love taking her to car shows in the area and took Best of Show at our very first one. She has been seen in print in both Downbeat Drag, where she made the cover, and Car Culture Deluxe. We are now offering chauffeur service here in the area for weddings and special events.

Thanks Keith! Maybe you could get Austin Butler to autograph the Caddy if he’s around.

I own a '58 Fleetwood...they are amazing cars...dripping with chrome jewelry. This black example is impressive...the color showing off all the trim to good advantage. An interior restoration on these cars is not for the faint of heart or light of wallet...well into 5 figures...so not surprising that the interior was done the way it was on this car. Also, this was a factory A/C car, but instead of reusing some of the original parts/ducts, it was all bypassed and an early Mustang-style evaporator is hung below the dash...I've seen Sanden compressors mated up to original controls and evaporators, but it does take some ingenuity.

Don’t know why but the old song “Once I built a Railroad” just came to mind! My parents generation bent over backwards to give us a better world and my children’s generation seems content just to bend over! Buddy can you spare a dime?

Very sharp looking, stylish automobile - I see that the owner has rerouted the dual exhausts away from the bumper outlets to avoid the discoloration of the bumper,a very wise idea - fabulous car!

The jump from this design to the 1959 and 1960 design was incredible. The 1959 pininfarina brougham must have felt like a Tesla Cybetruck compared to that styling. I really like the pinifarina brougham more then the original 1957 brougham. And also only 2 years for the gen 1 brougham and 1 year for the second is super short compared to todays cars with minor Facelifts during their 5 to 7 year model lifes. The VW Phaeton was available for 14 years with just one bigger facelift and minor mid lifecycle changed

Just seen one in early scene in the film The Great Gila Monster. Silly film about mutated gila monster but has the Caddy crashing and then 32 highboy and lovely late fifties finned cars..

I know I'm being picky here, but the white walls seemed just a bit too wide.. the kind you would see on a late 40s early 50s automobile
