California built and it has lived out west it's entire life. Ground up restored, has two fat 3 ring binders stuffed with receipts, schematics and documentation. It's loaded with great features including 348 big block, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, cruise control and more. My 3 year old grandson and I went out on a Sunday morning cruise. We put about 30 miles on the car, we both loved it! Great cruiser- smooth, easy to drive, comfortable. Not to mention it gets the looks, how often do you see a 59? Someone will be very pleased with this car.

That’s one beautiful car. I love Impalas from ‘58 to ‘67. Would definitely like to own one of them some day.

My parent had one of those models,,it was creamy yellow, white inside the side chrome,, green interior with carpet, powerglide with a 6 cyl. ,,add on A/C and the sport style steering wheel.

love this channel, great video, Americans made the best cars ever between 1950 to 1978 fulstop. I hope some some hyundai and kia designers are watching these videos , especially those that designed crap like getz , era, many more like it. How do you sleep at night.

I know this video is over a year old, but could not help but notice the speedometer is faulty. It showed 30 MPH while at speed on the highway. Then when slowing down while turning it would jump from 0 to 20 MPH back to 0. It needs to be calabrated.

I can see there is a service order, so that means our shop did some work on the vehicle but I can't see what exactly.

I drove a 59 kingswood back in the80s and. 90s+ when i heard the power glide hit reverse, i gasped caught my self and my eye waterd, i dare any one to call me a pussy..V toun Pete.
