This swimmer dives super deep, 196 feet down, into the world’s deepest pool called the Deep Dive. It’s like a castle under the water, and it’s really amazing. He holds his breath and swims all the way to the bottom smoothly. It takes years of training and great concentration to reach the bottom and manage to come back up. But he makes it look easy. After decades of trying to swim underwater and keeping bobbing to the surface, I recently realised that the trick is to empty your lungs at the start of the plunge - that way you lose buoyancy and slowly sink to the floor. Now my nine year old granddaughter and I have fun messing around on the bottom of the swimming pool and freaking out other people in the pool - it’s only ten feet though, and I certainly couldn’t change my clothes down there.
