he's really bad ass and you can see that he loves music.. makes me want to pick up my guitar every time I see him demo'ing a guitar.

Jesus, I get that he's a great guitarist and all but what a voice! E5 at 0:59 was so impressive.

He's having so much fun with that guitar. This is why I love Gretsch guitars.

I attended a demo of the White Falcon in the very early 60's by Jimmy Webster, the designer and great jazz player. He was using right hand tapping then, playing melody and chords at the same time. There were only about 10 of us at a small town music store.

Yeah, I saw him play one when I was like 15 and I've wanted one ever since. He was playing a Strat for Californication (he usually uses the White Falcon for that and Otherside) on the last tour they did though.

This is going to sound kind of dumb because I don't have enough room to explain it. But I'm a writer working on my own book, my main character plays lead guitar and vocals in a band. This is the guitar I picked for him because it's something unique so I've been trying to learn as much about the guitar as I can so that it sounds like my character is as familiar with the guitar as someone who plays 1. (I'm not a guitar player myself) Phil's demo of The White Falcon is the best one yet BY FAR!!!

Basically, hollow body guitar are excellent for hard rock. The sound is well resonated and sounds rich and full, when the guitar is distorted. And as already mentioned, just check out Malcom Young and generally the AC/DC stuff.

Depends on the year too, you might pay a lot more than that for a real early clean one.

Damn I got to tell you i'm a strat/Gibson guy but this is a great sounding guitar. A guitar sound is what you make it jazz , blues rock a billy or rock despite the make and model. I'm a rock guy and this is a killer sounding guitar for rock

@feracat07 Not only can he play it, he can play the hell out of it. I like watching guitar demos to learn about different guitars I might not have seen before. Too many people talk and talk about it but don't do a lot of playing. Phil doesn't talk you to death, he just plays a mean guitar!

if you mean the REALLY old looking thing thats a 37 M model i believe, first electric guitar, it has alot of acoustic wualities but with an added pickup
