I purchased this 1960s Buddy L Light Up Fix A Flat Tire Tow Truck on HiBid March of 2021.This thing wasn't even blown off before being sent off to auction. It still was covered in spider webs and dirt all over it. Makes you wonder where this poor truck has been sitting for years. Overall it wasn't in terrible shape, just very well played with. The worst of the rust was on the passenger side rear of the tow truck bed. It was missing a windshield, the wrench for the tires, the flat tire, and tow hook otherwise it was in decent shape for its age. I'm not extremely happy with the color choice for this one and typically like something with a little more shine to it, however I believe it's very close to the orginal finish the truck would have had. I'm a sucker for the light up trucks so this one will look great with the rest of them. When I was putting the Light cover on top it actually broke in half and I had to glue it back together to get the video out, I've got a new one on order as well as a replacement windshield. The windshield that I recieved was scratched ont he inside. I'm not 100% sure that I didn't scratch it after recieving it however It may have came that way also, either way it'll be replaced again. This vid is the first one I've watched as it was released. I've been working through your back catalogue. I'd recommend it to anyone. My mistake was to work backwards in time. It gave the impression that your technique was getting poorer... So halfway through I stopped, went back to the first video, and moved forward in time... much more satisfying watching you improve. Thanks for all the pleasure your vids have given me.

I got chills with the spiders...(same, i dont like spiders...) I like the restoration on this one,always your restoration always bring back to life again, from the that death gained pass time(older and older)... I always like them, they look too awesome.

Navajo Nuget, my favorite auto color! Take your compressor and blow away the spiders before you work. You know, the one that drives the sandblaster. Never seen this type of battery housing on a vehicle. It takes away from the vehicle appeal. I wish it was under the vehicle. Get another tire if you don't like the flat always on display. But I like the fact that it can be changed! Another suppurb job by you Chip!
